1  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: DTD takes money from inactive accounts on: August 10, 2009, 02:08:09 PM
I am sure a lot of you are aware of this but if not see mail I got from DTD:

Hello and thank you for contacting the DTD Poker support team regarding the Dormancy fee .

In response to your query regarding fees deducted from your
account with transaction code DOR (Dormancy Fee), please note
that due to the fact that your account ACCOUNT NUMBER has not
been active in the last three months it has been classified as
'dormant'.

In accordance with Ecash Direct Terms and Conditions, once your
account has a 'dormant' status a dormancy fee will be deducted
from your remaining account balance at the beginning of every
month until the account balance is zero.

Please be advised that the latter is in accordance with the End
User Terms and Conditions which you agreed to upon registering
your Casino/Poker account.

As stated in our Terms & Conditions in Section 6.11, your ECash
Account will be deemed to be inactive if you do not process a
Transfer Transaction from your account in any continuous period
of ninety (90) days. Once your ECash Account is deemed to be
inactive, you agree to pay ECash Direct a monthly service fee of
the then applicable fee (or the current balance of your account,
if less) so long as a balance remains after which the account
will be closed.

You authorise ECash Direct to debit this fee from your ECash
Account on the first day of the month following the day on which
your ECash Account is deemed inactive, and on the first day of
every subsequent month that your ECash Account remains inactive,
until your ECash Account becomes active again or the balance of
your ECash Account is nil.

The dormancy fees will be charged as follows:

From 91 to 180 inactive days 2 £/$/€ per month

From 181 to 365 inactive days 10 £/$/€ units per month

From 366 or more inactive days 35 £/$/€ units per month

Thank you for your understanding.

If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are available for you 24/7, 365 days per year or you can call us on our toll free number.

A full list of our numbers can be found at http://www.dtdpoker.com/contact.php

To ensure that your query is handled with the utmost priority please include your account number on all correspondence to DTD Poker.

Kind regards,
Martin,
Customer Service
DTD Poker

I only used the account to pay into the live games, I think in February and had  small amount left in. Not sure if I'll use this option in future if I manage to get back down there.

Cheers

HI Mate

DTD does not charge you for Inactive accounts, It Is a Ecash Charge for Dormancy, we are not happy with this but it is in there terms and conditions, if you email me direct at snowab@dtdpoker.com and i will credit you the dormancy fees
Thanks

I didn't see chubbs at any point this weekend but that's ok as there's more to add to this thread before he sees it

I'm not even playing tonight's sat but had been getting somewhat fed up with the constant popups reminding me to have money transferred into my poker a/c so I can addon

that was until I got a new one which amused me letting me know that the addon option only remains onscreen for 20 seconds at approx 10pm

now, firstly the tourney starts at 7.30 server time so they're now mixing up time zones, either that or the rebuy period is now 2 1/2 hours

secondly the tournament lobby states that there's a 95 minute rebuy period followed by addons so that'll be 10.05 then (or 9.05 server time), not 10pm

whole thing is just a complete mess

Hi Gatso, Thanks for your comments, please email me with full description and i will get to the bottom of it.

Thanks Simon Nowab

I don't know the answers to your various questions, so I've spoken to Chubbs, & he'll be on thread shortly. He won't know, either, but he'll blag it.

Guys

Just to re-iterate, please make sure you transfer fund from your  DTD cashier to the poker room for you to be able to rebuy and add on, and also remember you only have 20 seconds to Add on at the last level (90 min rebuy period)

Obviously we are trying to get these issues ironed out,and the IPN Network are working on these developments

Thanks

15  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Can Paul Jackson break the curse of the % on: June 06, 2008, 12:51:49 PM
2 years ago I ran an online comp where 2 people won a % of all my wsop winnings that year in the 7 events I played. I had a horrific year and cashed for zero so they won nada.

Last year Ben Grundy ran a similar promotion and again he ran so bad the winners of the %s didn't get rich

This year its Paul Jackson in DTD colours turn to try. He is obviously a far better live player than me or Ben but can he break the curse of the vegas %s? I reckn it could be third time lucky and he could have a decent run and win some serious money somewhere along the lines.

Russ have you ever cashed at the WSOP ?

Has Russ ever cashed anywhere Huh??  but to be fair to Russ he cashed at the WSOP on a fruit machine LOL I saw the slip
