So just because I am an idiot and need to check. Bet 125 each way, 250 total and then get 125 back, right? Anyone else get the 356 Grand National offer? Any each way fancies anyone for this year. I know nothing about racing.
What is the offer? They won't lay me a tenner each way (and that isn't just 356, it is all of them), never mind send me an offer. Without knowing the offer I am a bit loathe to rec e/w horses. Half your stake back on EW bets Max refund 125 Refunded in withdrawable cash Can be over multiple bets Would assume its hard to have a bad bet when your getting it half price but would be interested in your thoughts also Doobs

Whilst Tom Ince wasn't a great signing it wouldn't even get a mention in the list of horror signings we (Huddersfield) made during our two year Prem appearance. You won't have even heard of most of the garbage we spaffed our money on, and the goal Ince scored against Watford in the Prem first season is probably the most I've celebrated a goal in my 43 years as a fan. So all in all he's ok, not least cos we recouped our money from Stoke anyway. Alex Pritchard was a way worse signing for example.
Just don't say anything bad about Collin Quaner! He was my favourite player for Union Berlin for a season or two. Now up playing in Scotland. I really thought he could make it in the Prem, but not to be....

yeah it seemed to me a question of when the exit strategy would happen and not if. A lot of the people that used the product seem very cultish. Any criticism was shouted down. And of course the more people that signed up was better for them as the values rose. Similar parallels with some crypto bubbles here.

So my friend is obsessed with how the Swedish Corona strategy has crushed the strategy of other countries in Western Europe. He is really going down with the ship on this one.
At this point i am pretty much done with talking to him about it, but i see lots of links posted on here and people talking about Sweden in the past months.
Anybody got a link or two with a comprehensive summary of the subject from solid sources, publications that i can just send to him. Surely it is widely acknowledged by now that the Swedish method was a mistake? But i am no expert of course.

For those that think financial checks are the way forward - do not be surprised or have your feelings hurt - when down the road you go into a restaurant, off license, pub or even to book a holiday and they ask to see your financial situation and if you can afford it or should you be putting that money into a pension for your old age rather than buying that bottle of gin.
Come to think of it we should ban people like me from buying racehorses and greyhounds - as very few of us see a return - then we could shut down a lot of the football clubs who if it was not for their owners and supporters, most are in deficit, rugby clubs et al - anything that will potentially lose money - shut it down.
Lets close down these investment platforms 90 percent lose their money - why do we not ban risk completely - thus no more births - no people - no risk.
Since after WW2 we have become a world that likes to introduce more regulations and rules - strange we now have more poverty - more kids cant read or write, the gap between the rich and poor has grown - for those Sci Fi readers - remember the things people laughed at (that will never happen) mobile phones - video calls - space travel - the list is endless - perhaps George Orwell was on to something.
I don't really get your point here at all?
