just read ryan moores blog from saturday on betfair regarding queensbury rules he basically wrote the thing off as a no channer with no room for improvement left in it..... It went into my notebook after some lumpy bets went in for the thing to win the royal hunt cup ...if i'dve read his blog id've saved myself a few quid .

Really fancy QUEENSBURY RULES today in the cambridgeshire , had a few each way lumps at 16/1 with baldfred who seems to have taken over the high streets in Essex. If you can find better place terms I think its a cracking bet.

I'm hoping for big things from Adaay in the first but the 5/2 available yesterday long gone.
Rest look horribly hard races, and the only two I could even possibly suggest an interest in are hopefully two Fahey improvers in the last two races McCarthy Mor and Khalahari kingdom. But both for small beer mate.
GL and have fun.
Good spot, you got the best of it at 5/2 , looks a decent lil race though and I gotta keep an eye on fallons horse looks a strange race to start a career in .....

ive been backing leading light all week in the st leger only bits and bobs , i dont think hes the most talented animal to come out of o,brien's yard but ive got a sneaking suspicion he could be one of the toughest , a rounded action and plenty of heart is enough for me to have a bet ... posting really to say all his races are on atr and going through them has been an education in how to bring a horse on , hes obvs out paced in his 1st run under heffernan and gets pushed along every yard of the 1m 1f by manning on his maiden win when only his stamina really comes through at the end to win going away , as a 3yr old o briens lad takes the reins and teaches him to front run , the horse enjoys this , so he slows it to a near stop and then quickens away again for an easy win after these lessons he goes on to grp races and harder oppos and outbattles the others to win,eye opening way to teach a horse about almost every situation hes gonna face in his races. He might not win today but iv quite enjoyed tracking his progress
