Anyone interested in representing South London in the APAT Counties team championship in Manchester over the weekend of 15/16th December?

The only requirements are that you were born in, or currently live in a South London borough (Kingston, Sutton, Wandsworth, Merton, Croydon or Bromley), and a big dollop of enthusiasm.

PM me by 20th September if interested thumbs up

These people, disgusting. Hope he gets well soon, did he see them?  Were they just total randoms to him? Dreadful.

He doesn't remember anything after being in the pub. Cctv shows he left alone and must've come across them on his way home - total strangers - bunch of teenagers who saw an easy target I guess as he was on his own and probably quite obviously drunk.

Thanks all, if you could share on social media would be much appreciated. The mindset of people like this, and those that have been carrying out the acid attacks etc is just completely beyond me - he wasn't robbed or anything, it was purely for the 'fun' of it and I dread to think how bad things might have been if they hadn't been interrupted. People will know who they are, and I get the 'not wanting to grass' thing, but i'd be willing to bet this won't be there last time they strike if they get away with it.

As for my bro, he's doing remarkably well - very stoic about his injuries and just getting on with stuff. Thankfully all the damage is physical - doctors said that he's very lucky with the injuries sustained that no brain damage (of course, being my brother, i've told him that's because his brain was too small for them to get to Smiley).

still not caught.  CCTV has been released and published this week so hopefully something will come of it.

Always gotta pick up a copy of the Torygraph at the airport.  Free bottle of water when you buy.  Paper is cheaper than the water so it's no brainer if you're looking to get lubed up anyway.  Also like Nirvana only crossword I can do.  Thickos of the world unite.

My brother was the victim of a random assault in Cheam by three young men on his way back from the pub on Friday night. His leg was jumped on and badly broken and his face battered repeatedly with a brick. He has a fractured skull and cheekbone and will sadly have to lose his right eye.

This is a seemingly motiveless attack and could have been much worse had the attackers not been interrupted by local residents who responded to the screams.

The police are appealing for witnesses. If you have any friends on social media in the area can I please ask you to share the article below. Tjese idiots need catching before they kill someone.

Thank you

Joke or not this could actually work.

Imagine it on a festival weekend? £25 ker-plunk challenge played by a bunch of pissheads.

If pool, Ping-Pong and darts can work why not this lot?

The atmosphere would be amazing.

Yup i'd be well up for this. Pretty sure i'm probs the reigning luton.g scrabble champ.

26  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Vegas Trip Information for anyone looking to go this year. on: March 18, 2017, 06:16:12 PM

That's a workable deal.

To fly from LA to Vegas on SouthWest costs from $40, & the return flight costs $49, so the total round trip comes in at £300 + $89. Pretty good I'd say, & the Thos Cook flights are ultra reliable & punctual.

Yeah but you could save a fiver if you started in Yemen and routed via Gothenburg and Inverness.

My mate Chompy does exactly that.

Don't forget you can fly on Norweigan.  You just have to fly out before the end of March and hope the airline resumes flights sometime in the future.

Dates from November now available

get well soon - do as the professionals say and don't try to overdo it when you get out.

Sorry to be so serious about it but a very good friend of mine (41 years old) didn't take it easy after a hospital stay recently and her funeral is in a couple of weeks xx

xx

Iron - only 3 wheelchair entries last year - you could be locked on for a medal!

I just noticed that the time limit for completion is 5 hours which seems a bit miserly - I'd *hope* to finish inside that, but could be a dealbreaker if it might mean not being able to finish.

Back up plan is the half which has an equally, if not more, ridiculous cut off time of 4 hours. Could manage that at a stroll!
