Wishful thinking at the moment, but the UK lockdown will eventually be lifted
Where is the first place you are going for a hobby/activity/trip or location you are travelling to?
Our living room - for the TV Or our library - for a book If you're only counting places that we can't go to during the lockdown, I don't know, work probably. I'm not too keen on the outside in general so lockdown hasn't been too much of a struggle really Same, not been overly bothered really. Staring at a screen for long periods for work purposes has been the harder bit...... Not a huge faactor for me. Missing my two/three hours a day at the gym/swimming/sauna etc and getting out to play some live cash at the weekend and a few pints and eatiing out but apart from that the main day to day routine isn't much different. Just substituted the dogs on bf for online poker. Never thought i would see the day where i was playing 40+ hours a week of online poker. If you asked me this time 2 years ago i would have thought you were mad. Actually quite enjoying it. Nice to have the games as soft as 2005 again online. Is that last statement really true?

Nothing there from Raab that's going to stop the partygoers this weekend. Guy is an utter waste of space.
Zero chance any UK Government can win this one. You want all the freedoms during the good times you have to accept the soft approach when it's shit. Button it, labour would be awesome hands down versus evil Boris if you ask some!

Very underwhelming briefing tonight.
Slippery Raab never answers the questions properly so I don’t know why he goes back to the hacks as they just treat that same thing. They shouldn’t bother with the comebacks.
My local hospital has a drive by testing area, and it wasn’t one of the cities Raab mentioned. So he’s not been very well briefed with that one.
The thing is they are often asking the same Q’s again and again that they don’t have answers to right now, what Q’s do you feel aren’t answered?

Hearing that news it’s now pretty clear that I’ve been way more relaxed than I should have been about this whole situation, I’m certainly not going to be now!
Let’s hope they are just being super cautious with him because he’s PM. Best wishes to him.

Is the FT turning into the Sun?
Asking a question that if the government take a stake in any industry will they leave out Virgin Air because Virgin Health sued the NHS?
I'm pretty flabbergasted that a 'proper' newspaper would ask such a tabloidy question.
You’re right, but maybe there is a point of principle to be made with some of these guys that actively avoid tax. Maybe the current situation is an opportunity to sit down with people like these and have a frank conversation about what tax obligations they need to fulfil going forward before any help is agreed......before obviously thoroughly checking that they really need the help and aren’t being chancers, ie they would genuinely go under without the help.

Of course I know there are negatives, but I don't think people realise the help just isn't here yet.
Go on then, I'll take the sweetcorn and swim with it. You say all this aaron but then take more trips to Iceland in a week than Bjork and Kerry Katona combined? How often do you go to do convenience shopping Chompy? In a week, even in the current circumstance? Does your bread, milk and other essentials last you more than a week? I am pretty sure bread last 3 days max. Perhap I have to go and pick up prescriptions too. Who knew? I stayed inside for 7 days until Friday and only went outside for ‘exercise’ once without even breaking a sweat? It’s actually not that hard if people have some self control...... I freeze the bread after a few days so it doesn’t go off, a big milk lasts a week easily, I could do 2 weeks easily if I needed to.....
