31  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / Couple of hands from WSOP Events on: July 21, 2014, 05:02:57 PM
Interested to see how people would've played these hands.

WSOP Monster Stack
Day 2 with about 1500 people left. Chipped up to about 100k from about 40k at the start of the day. Not shown any hands of note down and have a pretty good TAG image I'd say. Blinds are 1k/2k and American guy who has been up and down all day has just had a big double to get himself near 200K opens to 5k from early position, button who is young American and just moved to table with 250k calls. I'm in the SB and call with

Flop is  Two Diamonds

I check to initial raiser who bets 15k pretty quickly and button flats after dwell.

How do you play it from here?

WSOP $10k PLO

We're about 2 hours before the end of day 1, got my stack up to about 75k from and no one has seen me get out of line (bluffs have got through and had the goods when called). Blinds are 600/1200 and about to go 800/1600. Oldish American guy who has limped a fair amount, with one limp allin trick. He has 30k+ and limps, button young active/good russian lad raises to 3100 from 80k, asian lady in SB who has been pretty passive/tight calls from SB from 50k I'm in BB with

How do you play it from here?

Rooky9

Working hard for BA. Got married last year (I was best man) and just had their first baby girl. I'm going to see them all this weekend I think so I'll let him know he is missed!

Returns total: $29110.

Tikay 1% package = $291.10 - 5% of the $2.1k 8max ($105) = $186.10
Doobs 2.5% package = $727.75 - 5% of 2.1k ($105) = $622.75
Longines 1% package = $291.10
Scotty 4.5% package = $1309.95 - 4.5% of 2.1k ($94.50) = $1215.5
Todd 5% package = $1455.50 - 12.5% of 2.1k ($262.50) = $1193
Junior 1% package = $291.10
Gamblor21 5% package = $1455.50 - 5% of 2.1k ($105) = $1350.50
Tom S 1% package = $291.10
Patrick 7.5% package = $2183.25 - 2% of 2.1k ($42) = $2141.25
Picken 5% package = $1455.50
Mark C  5% = $1455.50
Private Investor 10% - SENT

Think you have mine wrong Tom, I think I only had 2.5% of the main package. Then 5% of the 2.1k.

Ahhh crap! Thanks for the honesty mate! I've already sent $1350.50, if you could ship $727.75 back that would be really appreciated mate (I should have sent you $622.75).

Sorry about the mix up, heads still spinning after the long session!

All sorted, sent the difference back. I wish I'd had 5%...

More than happy to throw some funds at the 10k main, whats everyone else think?

Happy to go with the majority. Sats makes sense.

Just landed in Hong Kong in transit. Good run, was hoping I'd be able to watch you on final. Never mind, onto the next one!

Any interest in either of these? I'm sure you wouldn't struggling in selling a %, especially because you are value.

Saw you itt & was reminded of this, sorry I never replied before, plum forgot.

The first one is Limit O8, & I just don't "get" Limit. I wish I did, I think it's suit me, but I just can't fathom what the general idea is.

The PLO, like the Limit, is $10k to enter, way too big for me, pretty sure I'd play scared, too.

There are Mega Sats to both though, so if I get there, I'll give them a crack. Stranger things have happened.

Why is your e-addy "cue power"? Fancy yourself on the baize?

Make sure you come to the 6-Max UKPC, 6-Max Omaha should be huge fun. You might even do better this time.

Yeah the limit one probably isn't suited to your pressure game. I'm hoping to be able to make some of the UKPC depends on work really, can't make UKIPT as I'm away with work next week in Oz. You'd sell out no trouble for the PLO so if you wanted to play then I reckon you should put a thread up. I'm going to be out for some of the WSOP so will no doubt catch up then.

On the "cue power" email address, it was from my younger days. Don't even know the password for it now. Though yes I did fancy myself as a player, ended up playing a lot of 9-Ball as with my eyesight Snooker was too tough. Haven't played much for a while, though we have an annual tournament with work that always gets me trying to roll back the years.

Hope you are well.

Not even in for the 15k starting stack WSOP event?  Think that will be a pretty special field and a must play!

I agree with this, must play I think.
