m3 was disillusioned by the sensitiveness of some people on blonde whenever he disagreed or had different views, how people took his posts and over dramatised to his reply.

it went as far as he was afraid to post anymore for fear of upsetting someone, i must agree i know the feeling but we must be free to have our opinion without people taking offence and this forum needs people like m3boy.

See the same thing happening on most forums I use/read/post on. Usually arises from people not personally knowing each other, and taking what's been written too literally, without having any context that you get from face to face communication.

Got 4 bedrooms, only need 2 lolol

One is gonna be a office with obvious Poker set up and Sky Tv. Bit of a chill out room. The other is hopefully gonna be a Poker room with a decent table-

obviously this is subject to change when I finally pluck up the courage to tell the missus. lololol
Good luck! Wink

Good post.
I find watching/advising someone less experienced than myself as a good way of reflecting on your own game.
Having taught my partner the basics, and utilising a tight aggressive stragegy, she still doesn't comprehend the pushes late on with anything to steal blinds. Especially when i've been folding A10, KJ etc in the first half of the tourney.

She still tends to limp with big hands, afraid of wasting chips if she misses the flop, and there are multiple players in the pot.
On one particular dry spell of mine made me realise that I had become more passive myself.

3848  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: best way to play small pairs in NLH cash???? on: October 31, 2006, 12:22:47 AM
In nl cash. I always limp with a smallĀ  pocket pair. As has been mentioned, the no set, no bet thinking tends to be used the most.
However, particularly in the low limits, players fall in love with their Ax or their 2 pictures. If you hit a set, you get paid off very well.

Also if the flop comes low, these same players makes their continuation bets with overcards. Your pair then becomes a favourite over these players who cant put them down when they haven't hit.

how do u find out if they have overcards and not an over pair?
Usually observing how they play. In nl cash at the low levels you often get to a river showdown. Rather than looking at what a player has relative to the board, I concentrate on what hole cards they had come into the hand with. Usually only takes 2/3 rounds before you know which players like their ace rag, or their picture cards.
I find that at the low levels, a lot of players want action, and don't take any notice of what you might have.

It breeches some WTO regulations. That may be the best chance we have of getting the americans back.
Unless it suits the US they dont give a **** what WTO regulations get broken.
The politicians in the US get away with this B******* because they use the same old twist of ' If you don't agree with us you're not patriotic to your country'

At the end of the day the only reason this has come about is because the US don't currently claim taxation from the poker sites.
We all know that in a couple of years they will allow sites as long as they register in the US and pay taxes
3853  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: is nem coming back? on: October 21, 2006, 06:57:47 PM
If there had been a 'couldn't care less' option I would have picked that. Instead I voted for the ban to be completed.

Now I have NO idea why Nem was bannedbut, if we are to be a part of this forum, then we have to have faith in the moderators to fulfill their role.

Don't know if it's a coincidence, but have noticed a lot more French and German players on the tribecca cash games. They're a little (ahem) inexperienced too! Wink

No real need to use one as you can auto deposit whilst playing.
Being able to use a cash facility is probably better. However, apart from the bookies others probably wont do it due to fears of conterfeit money or laundering.
