Hi
on 425 this week was there mention of a new poker club opening
in liverpool by one of the players that was interviewed or am i getting
my wires crossed lol

                       Neves

There was a team from Liverpool called The River - named after the club they are opening. Don't have any other details unfortunately.

So, I'm in the Western on Saturday night, and persuade everyone to stop what they're doing and watch my television debut on Poker425  Cool

... We switch it over to Channel 854 and it's virtual horseracing Sad

Is Poker425 not shown on Saturdays?

I recommend WPT Magazine and Poker Europa, and PokerPlayer if you fancy a laugh.

This sounds like great fun. We held a golf/poker day in the local poker group I run in Bristol and it was a top laugh.

Dan Carter has a handicap of 5, so I'll try to get him to come along too Smiley

Really looking forward to seeing it on telly. Hopefully JT Productions will release a box dvd set of the series. I'd certainly buy a copy.  Smiley

Lol, what a great show Cool

First time I've seen it, though I'll be purchasing Sky soon so I can watch it every week.

Can't believe I said that the Cincinatti Challenge would be 'easy'. It was my first time on film, and I was a little bit nervous. I thought whilst the question was asked shall I say "easy" or "not very easy". For some reason I opted for the first choice, thinking it might be a little bit controversial Smiley

Obviously set myself up for a fall with that one, and rightly got the rub down in the studio by Tikay and Jonny Gould  Cheesy

Anyway, great show. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Ironside  Smiley

A friend of mine is going to record the episode to DVD and dsitribute copies to members of my local poker group.

Is converting a DVD to a torrent a fairly easy process?

... But not dreading it so much that I woudn't like a copy  Cheesy

Ironside - please can you point me in the direction of your torrent once it's up?

yesterday i played the jonny texas tv game .

thought it was a terific structure .

it was a well organised game i know it cost a few quid to enter

but it was well worth it .

we was well looked after food drink ,a lot better tourny than the 888.com tourny .

3/4 hour structure with 10k starting chips ,if you get a chance to play the next one i would recomend it.

I've just got back from the wrap party for this event. Excellent fun. We finally finshed up around midday!  Cool

Myself (Matt Dale) and Dan Carter, and our internet qualifier (Benedetto Passantino) played this event. I agree with the post about the excellent structure, and the great hospitality. Craig's structure and tournament direction was top notch.

I hope we get invited back for the next event  Smiley

Majors on the Team Event from Cincins in Glasgow last weekend. Lots of interviews, all of which exuded fun & enthusiasm, seemed like it was a great success.

Cincin's interviewees included Bruce Martin, Matt Dale (2), Jaime Vazquez Ponte, Peter Harkin, Phil Starrs, Terry Owens (2), Mark Goodwin, Carl Thomas (2), John Wong, Monty Burns (2), Aly Myles, Steve Tracey, Graeme Harrison, Iwan Jones, Martin Cavanagh, & the erudite Jef Burke.

The profile is Bad Girl - a lovely one.

Oh, & we correctly forecast the result of this evening's Arsenal - Barcelona match - & we recorded it 6 hours before the match kicked off. Impressive stuff.

Every night 11pm, Channel 854.

I'm off round to a friends house to watch this tonight  Cool Dreading it lol!  Smiley

Awesome event, and thanks to an awesome job with the updates too  Cheesy Thanks and congratulations to Luton too for hosting such a wonderful festival. I'll definitely be back for the next one.

I only wish that Dan Carter and  I (Matt Dale) weren't so tired, and stuck around the next day to watch JP win! Congratulations!! He was definitely the right man to win the event. Good to see he didn't get bokked (is that right?) by the blondepoker forum curse!  Cheesy

JP, are you going to parlay some of the winnings and play the Irish Open?

Hi guys, enjoy!

Thanks again guys. Tikay, thanks for the welcome in the other thread. I don't know an awful lot about Dan, but he's had some good successess online and won an event in Luton (I think) A few months back.

Matt runs Poker.co.uk He's an aggressive players usually, but can mix his game up well. He often does well at our local Stanley Casino in Bristol.

Ahh, in that case, I DO know Matt - we met & chatted last night. Frighteningly young...........

LOL, 'Frigteningly young'. I like it Cheesy

lol @ mattyh's David Cameron comment too  Cheesy

tikay, was good to meet you and the blondepoker crew last night. See you in Ireland for the Irish Open.

Cheers
Matt
