My daughter turns 21 in December

O...M...G!

I know! Ridiculous isn't it?

Hope you and family are keeping well Tom.

21 in December? I can barely believe it. She is so beautiful too. You've been a great Mum Claire, xx

PS - I saw a Facebook post about me by "Claire Spinks" a week or two ago. Is that you?

Photoshop IMO, no other way you could be Table Chippie.

I would have bet good money that your post would be "Have you tried TIO and TIBOA"

Not the sort of expression I'd ever use.

This really was peak blonde.

10 pages, but well worth a scroll.

Another film that Tony won't watch BTW.

It would help if you told me the film's name. A 'photo of a bloke & a football is not much help.

Sigh...
Will I ever finish this job?

Now the hedge trimmer is playing up. It will start and run but it won't rev up.

I wouldn't mind but I bought it brand new. (Admittedly that was in 1997 but that's not the point).

Ah well, YouTube videos to the rescue.

Have you tried TIO&TIBO?

No need to thank me.

Great news on the Yukka, Tom.

Do try not to attempt to kill it this time, eh?

I sympathize (that doesnt look right but whatever).Am currently trimming my hedges and tidying the garden.Have cut through the hedge trimmer cable, burnt out the lawnmower, broken my shears and smashed my favourite mug.

I hate gardening.

I know someone who mowed through his lawnmower kendall cable.

Got any proof of that?

No sympathy at all, not one iota.

As usual , I find it hard to put into words the surprise and delight of seeing you again after all these years.

As per usual you downplay the talents you have . To hit the ball with your driver that far at your age it
must be of great satisfaction that you get it past the ladies tee.

Don’t forget your wallet the next time we play , Trev is the ultimate bandit.

And yet you still expect me to play off 25 against Team Bandit? 35 is my final offer.

PS - I know it sounds weird, but 4 days later I'm still buzzing.

I'm glad to hear that you've found a nice game close to where you live.

Also pleased to hear that Jamie and Neil are back playing. Jamie was a longtime member at Beeston Fields but the last I heard he'd given the game up.

I bet Neil hits the ball a long way when he catches one as he's a very well-built specimen, looking healthy too.

Actually you all look pretty trim for gentlemen of a certain age..

Fourball at Wollaton sometime?

Hi Ralph.

These days Jamie is, I believe, a member at Breadsall Priory. Says he is 10 strokes better there than anywhere else. He's a sort of man of leisure these days, works 6 months (winter) & lives the life of idle Riley the summer months. He's not aged well, mind.

Neil does indeed hit the ball a very long way, & is much the better player I'd say. Think he did a good job to hold his belly in for the 'photo.

Would love a 4 ball at Wollaton, though put me down as 1st reserve, as Jamie, Neil & Trevor (typhoon) are a regular group & I would not want to intrude, but there's every chance one of them will be unavailable so I might well be OK.

How is your wrist now, & have you been able to discover your "touch" around the greens yet? A broken wrist at our age takes a bit of getting over.

Great to see you again Tony and it was a really enjoyable few hours.
Already looking forward to the next time.

Thanks Neil.

The date is agreed, September 11th, oioi.

Can't wait.

Wow, miss you & your stories too Dave.

Where's the wedding? Somewhere exotic I hope. Leeds?
