Transformers 2...effects overkill, hated it myself, scoring a massive 19% at Rotten...

"At once loud and boring, like watching paint dry while getting hit over the head with a frying pan. And at two and a half hours, it really is very long."

how the hell can you not love this film

it had everything, effects, action, love story, twists, comedy, cliff hangers.

the lot!

best film for years, probably better than the first one too

Level, surely?

Why the fuck would Harry leave, he is at a massive club who are playing superb football, with some of the best footballers in EPL just now, cruising in the Top4 just now?

Harry is God!

Spurs are the first pick on my coupon now-a-days...........No this is not my last man standing pick for week 2.

Might not be his choice.

Friend of mine (season ticket holder, and close friend to spurs scout ) says it more chance of the sack than him leaving on his own.  Something to do with a couple of dodgy deals at portsmouth which spurs don't want to be associated with.

I, on the other hand, will be believe it when I see it.

I'm caddying at this tourney, and i've watched him in the practice rounds.  Even more amazing when you're standing next to him.

He didn't ask, who is the most famous sportsperson.

Just seen District 9.

It's no Matrix but it's quality alright. Has more of a feel of Cloverfield about it than anything.
Never anything less than believable, which is pretty amazing given what we're being asked to believe.
Agree with Tanky, the lead character is top drawer.
8/10 for me imo

Just watched it,really enjoyed it.I take Tank's point about it turning into a run of the mill action/chase movie at the end but it wasn't enough to spoil the overall film.

The CGI was really well done considering the relatively low budget.

Awesome film

Heres a link to the 6 minute short 'Alive in joburg', which the director made before District 9.  Same story as the feature length as it evolved from this short.  An interesting watch.

Saw 'Funny People' - about an hour too long, tried to be too many different types of films. The stand up elements were funny and a rare movie where Adam Sandler was good, rather than a steaming bag of cow dung.

I thought it was crap (just one word review is all it deserves).  It is also the only movie I've ever left the cinema before the end.

Bolt is simply the sickest man ever!

Agreed.  Unreal, can easily go faster.

And Congrats to Jessica.  Dominated from start to finish, shame her celebrations got cut off.
