Well, we have a caravan that we park by the beach in the summer for the kids, but we haven't moved it yet.  Only problem...we live on the Cork/Kerry border and it's a long drive to Dublin with a caravan in tow.  Maybe you could bring a tent and find some bit of green at the back of the Fitz?

You could also try searching through the self cater apartments in Dublin...and if a few of you crash in one, it'll be dirt cheap.

Not sure what the one in Dublin is like, but I got a special offer in the mail the other day for the Choice Hotel Group...here's the link to their special deal:

I'd be happy to help with the organising.  The drink side of it is definitely an issue, but yer a smart lot...surely between us we can come up with a way around that part.

Ireland might be a nice place for the next one.

They don't even count over seas ballots, so no point in the likes of me voting.  Only time mine counts is if the last state I lived in (before moving to Ireland) is too close to call...and I lived in New York, so that ain't gonna happen.

As much as I'm loyal to my Cleveland team, New York Mets and Boston Red Sox look like the teams to beat so far this year.  New York could be in a bit of bother in the National League with a few teams close on their tails, but the only team coming close to the Mets in the American League is Cleveland.  Fingers crossed!!!

All this talk of Baseball and not one mention of my hometown team.  Yeah, ok...we're not great, but we're over .500........for now.

GOOOOOOOO CLEVELAND!!!!

Here's the standings for the whole lot at the minute:

at about 8:30/9:00...watch this space.

Sorry Tikay, you know I support what you're trying to do, but I sure as heck don't envy ya!  I will say this...fair play to ya!  You seem to have knocked out any complaints bar the demand all in one day.  Well done on that!   Just remember...'don't sweat the stick'...it'll all be grand in the end.  Wink

Borrowed without asking, but there ya go...lol  Here's a list of rules for pets:

PET RULES
To be posted VERY LOW on the refrigerator door - nose height.

Dear Dogs and Cats,

The dishes with the paw print are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Please note, placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.

The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Beating me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help because I fall faster than you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure your comfort. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.

For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years -- canine or feline attendance is not required.

The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other dog or cat's butt. I cannot stress this enough!

To pacify you, my dear pets, I have posted the following message on our front door:

To All Non-Pet Owners Who Visit & Like to Complain About Our Pets:

1. They live here. You don't.
2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. (That's why they call it "fur"niture.)
3. I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.
4. To you, it's an animal. To me, he/she is an adopted son/daughter who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly.

Remember: In many ways, dogs and cats are better than kids because they:
1. Eat less
2. Don't ask for money all the time
3 Are easier to train
4. Normally come when called
5. Never ask to drive the car
6. Don't hang out with drug-using friends
7. Don't smoke or drink
8. Don't have to buy the latest fashions
9. Don't want to wear your clothes
10. Don't need a "gazillion" dollars for college.

And finally,

11. If they get pregnant, you can sell their children.

I'm a Yank who's fortunate enough to live in Europe, but at the same time I can see how banning it in the States will affect online poker across the globe.  Living in Europe and seeing it from your point of view....there won't be half as many Yanks (fish) on in the morning to take money from with their stupid late night plays/calls.  But there also won't be as many big sponsorship deals because at least half their market has just been cut.  WSOP won't come close to the numbers they had this year if the new laws stick.  But then...the pros would be delighted with that news and so should we because it makes it that much easier for the rest of us in Europe to win a seat.  But...is one seat for a few days in the year worth being glad to see the back of em?  Sad day really and sad the way they were able to stick it onto the back of legislation that matters, just to be sure it passed.
