Should have asked, how much is it?

Draft related, do you generally make a list of players you are interested in before the draft and then weep more as they all disappear whilst hoping you end up with one or two or just play it by ear when it's your pick?  I have a list but after the mock draft I did, I'll be lucky to get more than one of them so wonder if I should spend the next hour researching more

I think its £30.

Rather than making a big list of players you want I think you would be better off just letting it autodraft for you if you are still learning.  I think it usually gives you a pretty balanced solid team.

I'm the active manager of his team at the moment and I've not seen any offer come through!  I'd have received a notification if so.

Leaving it as is for now, but it's debatable to me as to whether Blackmon has any trade value, even for a late pick.

I'll wait to see if there's any feedback on this from the other managers tomorrow.  I could do with something from Linux tomorrow to confirm he's ok with this at some point too.

In the meantime, the clock moves onto sharplea.

Apologies, but it's a slightly bizarre trade situation, hence the caution just now.

Didn't send it as we had to drop him to make our pick.

Can't see how you can say he can't have trade value, he's sat on our roster for over a year in speculation and the Jaguars have denied him an opportunity to play in the CFL.  Obviously a gamble on Linux's behalf just as picking an undrafted rookie running back who's sat 4th on the depth chart is on our part.

We have made a trade for Linux pick.  Sending him Justin Blackmon in return.

With the next pick in the draft the Absolutely Gash select

Thomas Rawls RB Seattle Seahawks.

I've picked up Rawls and dropped Blackmon for now as I dont think Linux is set up to accept the trade yet and we're running out of time.

Can you send Blackmon over to him please Curtis.  Apologies if that causes you any backtracking to sort.

Tebow 15/8 top make the final roster appeal, Tighty?

Yes where is that?

a) they have traded Barkley

b) Sanchez and Bradford have both have big injury histories, would feel a gamble to go with only 2 QBs on the 53

c) Kelly has some short yardage/goal-line packages that include Tebow as a tight end

should be much much shorter

Ladle blokes

the man who priced it at 15/8 doesn't understand the NFL, betting, or both.

a useful tool today is the ourlads depth charts..if there are any other prices you see pop them up

here's the eagles one http://www.ourlads.com/nfldepthcharts/depthchart/PHI

Eagles have just released Tim Tebow.

Are you around Curtis, two of us have agreed a trade for the draft pick I am on the clock for but we cannot process it on the site and it needs to be made before 19.00.

The problem is if I select it and then we trade it afterwards I think I am going to have to drop a player to make it go thru so we need to trade the pick and the additional bits instead.

Anyone got a suggestion as to how to trade this years draft picks?

cant anyone pick up anyone currently? just let whoevers taking your pick make the selection they want now.

Only posting this now cause it is breaking news and we might miss the price otherwise.

Offensive rookie of the year. Last year's bet, Kelvin Benjamin, plays for the Carolina Panthers and did enough to win in a normal year,  but got unlucky that he was in a supreme class for his position, wide receiver.

In the draft, the panthers again went for a wide receiver. Another 6 foot 5 physical speedster, who will impose himself against smaller opponents. Step forward, Devin Funchess.

He is 66/1 to win this year, largely on account of the fact he'll be the second choice for the quarterback in the deep behind Benjamin.

Only Benjamin has just done his ACL and is out for the season. Funchess will be the top wide receiving option for a team that needs to pass to win. It's a much better year to pick the best attacking rookie as the depth of elite talent isn't the same. Amari Cooper in Oakland will be good and Melvin Gordon will be a good running back, but Kevin White is out for the year and now so is Benjamin.

Funchess is still 66/1 with Chorals. If Fred doesn't see this before the price changes, he can have a fiver of mine at that price.

Do you still make this a bet at 50/1 with badly?

Hello

my concern would be that the situation doesn't help Funchess either. rather than going against number 2 cornerbacks he will now be up against number 1 cornerbacks in an offense that doesn't have many receiving options and could be quite run heavy (both cam newton and running back)

it doesn't look as strong a year as last year but one of winston/mariota/gordon/cooper is the most likely winner.

i have my eyes on another outsider, but want to see another couple of their pre-season games first

Certainly will help his chances as now he will be a certain starter, a matter which was up in the air before Kelvin went down.

50/1 is too big a price for a starting wideout in an open year in a pass reliant league.
