While i'd agree cov is a bit of a poo hole as cities go there's some great places within 10-15mins drive... warwick... leamington spa, Knowle,  etc etc

Daft Q.... Just been running through some HH and noticed that getting it in pf with AK seems to be costing me a chunk at the moment.    It's prompted some debate with a few people.   Obv a lot of the time person, situation 7 action dependent.   But interested on peoples thoughts on if getting it in pf with AK pf at say NL200 or NL400 6 max is a long term winner or loser?

It was more the mopping up the remaining chips given the pot to stack sizes that made me consider getting another 12k in on the already 30k pot.   Not a clue how anyone can favOur pass over call though

Just been looking into this in past few weeks.   Couple of points worth considering....

1: If you like the O2 coverage etc but not the prices... try TESCO mobile... they use O2 network but are cheaper for many things.  I also looked at the 3 deal but gave them the swerve on coverage.

2: 24month contracts not the greatest deal.  If you have the $ buy the phone unlocked from Apple or 2nd hand one from ebay and get either a monthly rolling or 12month micro sim contract.   Just gone monthly with TESCO for 600mins and 1GB (plus half a squillion texts) for £15 a month... they also offer same deal on 12month basis for £12 a month.     Doing this gives you flexibility to change ur deal whenever, the flexibility to Sell your if you want to and all for a lower total cost of ownership.

All folded round to me in the cut-off and I raise to 1600 with

BB thinks for a minute and RR to 11k.

Now obv I'm not passing but is this a jam?   He's got  about 13 or so left behind. 

If I just call it leaves me with a playable 20k if im behind.... jamming the losing hand would effectively cripple me with 7k

Only info I had on the player was that he seemed observant/competent and hand not done anything stupid in the limited time I'd been at the table.

Enjoyed it last night, there was some seriously spewy play by some deep stacks from about 9pm onwards... saw quite a few get it all in with TP half decent kicker for 50-100 BB 60k+ stacks
