St George is of course Syrian.

St Patrick was English, doesn't seem to bother the Irish.

Yeah think the magic in active 3D is in the glasses. They are quite expensive glasses compared to the other type. I don't have three diamonds just recall demo's when I worked at Sky.

Got 2 pair of glasses that came with it, not sure if they are going on though as but still split screen.

This is utter pish!

There are 2 types of three diamonds tv Sky broadcasts active which has a split screen the passive three diamonds is the old blurry picture you would remember from three diamonds movies in the pictures.

Have you put the glasses on?

Nope, does that take away the split screen?  lol.

yes. If you have the correct glasses (active three diamonds)

Sure I've seen this on WSOP coverage before. Guys have definitely
Left huge stacks on the bubble too.

Wonder how many people have missed their child being born.

Probably less than those that missed it being conceived.

Will our funds migrate or do we need to cash out of the Ipoker DTD skin?

I had a Party Account years ago, will I need to use this to access the Dtd tab or be able to set up new account?

Good news as I can't imagine Party/bwin is any worse than Ipoker

I'm going to get an FAQ's page up in the next 24 hours. Please bare with me. The answer:

5. What will happen to any cash in my current Dusk Till Dawn account?
Dusk Till Dawn accounts on iPoker will be inaccessible from February 19th. Please withdraw funds before that date.

6. What will happen if I fail to withdraw before the 19th?
Funds will be pushed back to your last deposit method, please withdraw them if possible.

Sent you a PM over a week ago, i know I had little cash in it and said there was no panic but did at least expect an acknowledgement of some kind that you would look at it. As yet I haven't received anything back to my bank so can you confirm you got my message and you will deal with it please?

Think we can see one of the reasons why there hasn't been a bash for so long. Rob comes along and announces he wants to do something for the blondes and we get a load of people saying 'no lets have it somewhere else' or 'we need team comps and Tighty sng's' (if I remember correctly we weren't allowed these at DTD).

Times have changed, It isn't going to be anywhere else for a few of the reasons you have all heard:

1. DTD = blonde these days.
2. No other venue would really be interested, there is no way blonde could go to a venue anymore and guarantee 100+ attendees.

Matt is correct if there is a 100 that turn up for this I would be very impressed. So a separate event maybe kicking off before the normal evening game purely for 'blondes' would make sense. Those busting then have the choice of playing another MTT/some cash or just going drinking. If you can get a HU comp allowed then great the rest can be organised by members (football, quizzes etc).

Just my tuppence, would like to make it along but depends on when it falls really.

Poker in the general Media is often cringe worthily bad. Even more responsible papers are guilty. This is hilarious:
http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2015/jan/08/online-poker-bot-cepheus-flaw

Just read the article, what is it that you find hilarious? Nothing particularly controversial from what I can see.

Cepheus is a bot which is the closest known approximation to a Nash Equilibrium out there. It's unbeatable basically.

The "poker journalist" talks about 400(!!!!!!!!!!) hands he played against this bot, and mentions that he stopped bluffing to exploit it.

It's nonsense basically. Thoroughly misleading and lazy journalism.

looks like he was given about 500 words by the Guardian so not a lot of room for a detailed piece. He makes the point the sample is too small and suggests it may be possible to exploit it don't see a lot to get upset about imo.

The other issue is trying to understand what the Mole is saying after the 3-days of non-stop drinking.

Another one who misses the point completely.

It's a job to understand Mole BEFORE he starts drinking.

Verging on racialism.

One of his happiest times was when he had to step in to 'translate' for me, I just walked away in disgust...

Have you planned any non poker activities for whilst you are there?, or you just drinking and taking each day as it comes

We've got absolutely nothing planned yet but that could change I suppose.

Would quite like to do a helicoptor trip to see that big hole thing but other than that it'll be play it by ear.

General plan is:

Friday - Arrive 2pm, go out, get drunk.
Saturday - Get up, go out, get drunk before hangover has a chance to kick in.
Sunday - Get up, feel poorly, go out, get slightly less drunk than Friday or Saturday
Monday - Get up, maybe see the big hole thing, go out, get slightly drunk
Tuesday - Get up, go out, get drunk.
Wednesday - Birthday!!!!! Get very drunk!!!!
Thursday - Feel poorly
Friday - Go home

LOL bloody amateur, the old fella has it bang on. You certainly won't be going to bed every night or day for that matter.

Oh and that big hole thing, tell me what it looks like when you get back we've never managed to get near it. Well not the Grand Canyon big hole thing anyway...
