He was certainly full of crap, thats for sure

Turns down 5k because he can earn that in a week and then accepts it two deals later......wins 300k on a horse presumably at 30-1 and then doesn't gamble when he gets the chance. The banker was right, full of the brown stuff!!

ed, read through some of the threads on this child board if you get the time.......

one thing you may like to know straight off...the Broadway took more money over their bars than they did over the gaming tables over the weekend.

Please post any response you get from the powers that be

concentrate any complaints on the declaring of hands and the offers to slow play deliberately in chat

if there was nothing in the chat box you would have no grounds but the chat box here is damning evidence

if the world ended, how would the thread survive?

sorry for the outbreak of common sense...back to the debate...

my two bobs worth, i have noticed a LOT of sexual tension in the forum ever since the blonde bash, i dont know exactly what went on there, but i think it has something to do with it, anyone there see anything fishy going on?

apart from M3Boy calling my raise with 23 off?

by the way, nice avatar.... scared
104421  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Crossing a line with TWO WORD POKER STORY? on: January 16, 2006, 06:59:18 PM

Ps. I dont read the 2 word story thread anymore, i leave that particular thread to the other Mods...

Shame about that as we had left it for you. I blame the bloke that started it in the first place.  Cheesy

I vote killjoymonster

and yes, if the people want me to go for creating the monster, I will happily fall on my sword
104422  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Crossing a line with TWO WORD POKER STORY? on: January 16, 2006, 06:53:24 PM
nope you can't.

I have wanted it to leave page one for months now and die away. Never knew the monster I was creating!

just don't put up a blinking poll about deleting  it or else!
104423  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Crossing a line with TWO WORD POKER STORY? on: January 16, 2006, 06:30:22 PM
I probably wouldn't be surprised...I hear all sides of the debate ...repeatedly!

I know there is no desire from any of us with the capacity to do so to censor, edit, delete etc but where necessary it will be done

It happened with a new thread this afternoon which I felt was disrepectful to some female poker players and it was gone asap, after consultation with other moderators

104424  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Crossing a line with TWO WORD POKER STORY? on: January 16, 2006, 06:20:35 PM
OK, that is a valid point too

Rest assured we kept an eye on that thread, where everything was posted with the encouragement and permission (in the case of the photos) of the new poster

Jane, we would have stepped in immediately if this wasn't the case.

Now this is only a personal opinion, it does not represent anyone else's views except my own, but I would like a little less of the innuendo and FHM stuff. I participate in places but everything in moderation!

Welcome and enjoy!

Going back to the original post i agree, when Sarah London joined the forum all i could think was "what a depressing site" all blokes being leary over a few pics! This is something i really would rather not have on a poker forum!

but we all must remember not to get too sanctimonious about matters.  Cheesy

Just wanna say good post Tank. I haven't posted on there in a while as I open the thread, read the content, and then think "nah that's not for me". I don't have anything against those who do post on it but I don't wanna be seen to be part of it so I'm happy to leave those who do post on it to it.

If it did ever revert back to what it was I'd enjoy posting on it again. Smiley

and that is a good reply, it echoes my views

we are not about to censor the thread or change anything that is already there but I personally would rather the thread got back to what it was about if people want to carry it on....
104428  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: OT annoying things..... on: January 15, 2006, 11:26:51 PM
People who start threads that never end?

3030 posts and counting.... Cheesy

As a Celtic fan I wouldn't take him in a lucky bag - But rangers must love him for the money he's paid for Rangers players whove sucked at Souness's English teams. Tugay's been the only decent one!!

Barry Ferguson was the biggest disappointment
