Loads of TC chips about this week. Lots of -4' and -8's too.  2 guys in my work mini league have both made 6 transfers each for a -20!  Once we hit GW 29 it will be back to normality for a few weeks until the next set of doubles. Its been a fascinating season this time.

Are we having a Masters tipster competition this year?

That normally livens the place up!

Unforch we don't have Mere these days, but f we can find someone willing, & sufficiently competent to run it, yes.

Does mere not post any more?

He has been very helpful to Dazzler and I on the FPL spreadsheet wizardry and still is.

Is an Amazon Firestick not a good way of setting this up or is an android box such as the one already linked better?

Amazon fire is fine and I use mine for kodi.

Can't advise on the firestick bit, but all the apps that I want are in android format, so I prefer that route (they or equivalents might be on firestick idk).

re your other question, you do need a power source for the android box.  Then it uses wifi and connects to tv via an hdmi cable.

Thanks

Thanks.

How do these boxes connect? I.e do they plug into your TV and then pick up wireless signal from wifi? Or do i need to connect it hardwired to my router?

Ok, where do i start?

Any trusted sites that i can get an idiot's guide to Kodi from?

I only get 7.5 mb internet speeds though so will it even run properly?

What do i physically need to buy and do?

Last Man Standing

In an unlikely turn of events, we lose the league leader Stuart Wright and his Silkworms. He scored just the 33 points in what was a week of quite polarised scores.

It is good news for the rest of us as he was one of the best, if not the best Manager in the league going on past seasons and this one.

On to the next....

it doesnt effect the H2H league i presume?

It only affects those in the £30 cups package league still left in the Champions League.

It DOES NOT affect any other league such as, LMS, H2H or Classic Leagues

GW28 will definitely have less than 6 fixtures (likey 4. Max 5) so we will not use it for cup our cup games as per the rules set at the start of the season

It's not a scam, it's a farce that they can try and 'fine' you a disproportionate amount against the agrievance caused. And that is why I will not pay. Charge a reasonable amount such as the council do and I'm sure more people would pay up.

Ok scam may not be the right word. I certainly don't think the DVLA should be allow to pass on your details to anyone other than the police or insurers though. As you say, these private car parks should make their charges fair. £60-80 for going over by a short period of time is just not reasonable.

Why don't they clamp people?

Surely that makes more sense than sending uninforceable fine notices?

Clamping is now illegal

The police can also fine you but will be for violations on a public road not on private land.

All of these private parking companies should eff off!  I find it remarkable as well that they get your details from somewhere. Its not like you leave your name and address on your windscreen so there is a 3rd party involved selling your details on, which is probably the DVLA. Its one big scam.
