Tony Phillips and Ben Vinson are casualties before the break. It looks like the total number of runners is 356 players. An earlier start next month methinks?

Great coverage folks, thanks to DTD for supporting this too. I have got to make it down there again next month!

Can we still buyin with DTD points? I know they expire soon but cant remeber when. Apologies as I know it is on here but cant find the post for the life of me.

Ahhh the higher rate explains it then and reading your earlier post again you dont want to walk. I dont mind the stroll.
I asked as I am looking to go out for Xmas and at $400 for the week I was wondering how good/bad it was so thanks for your advice.

I have stayed @ Mirage previously but was looing for a cheaper option as to be honest I found the mirage rooms to be a bit "tired" last time I stayed there. I had heard comments about the Imperial Palace being basic and feared Bills may be the same.

Looks as though Bills will be a bargain then so thank-you as I wouldnt have considered it before seeing your post.
Good luck on your forthcoming trip!

Pay the $814 for Bills please, please, please............

Best decision you will make.
I am confused, if you recommend Bills so highly why not stay there? Its next door to the V if i recall correctly?

still wanting to go this year

not sure if i should try and go during wsop and play a side event of some of the beligos mirror events

or if should wait till later in the year keep looking on expedia for prices but i only get prices for hotels i have never heard of and no one mentions

the other hotels dont seem to be listing there prices

Iron,
For convenience we tend to stay in the Mirage. Its central and you can get to most places quickly by cab.
ceasars is next door, altho in a chair you might want to use a Cab. Venetian is stright across the street. you can get a monorail to Treasure Island.
Poker rate is Daily Room Rates:
$109 (Sunday -Thursday)
$149 (Friday & Saturday) altho they charged us $199.

To get poker rate they expect you to play in their room but its always busy and they cater a spread of cash and even SnG.

I have a contact if you want it PM me and ill send you the details.
Also try this site its good for room rate info.

Im off home now but will check later if I can help more.

Depending on how much you are taking you could just take sterling. I found the rate a touch better changing sterling at a vegas casino cage.

Dont know if it will work for Vegas but I use a Nationwide Flex account the rate is good and they dont charge commision.
Used it all over in Florida and drew cash from ATMs no problem so would expect Casinos take it without issue. Be bets to check though.
A quick email to the casino cage where you are staying / playing can save any headaches later.

I'll keep an eye out for all requests so let me know now of anyone you want me to shadow all day.  There should be a full player list available to us, then you within the next 30 mins too.  I'm off into the card jungle to see some interesting plays early doors hopefully.

Keep an eye on Rick Gilby please

Thanks in advance!

Yesterday was Microsoft patch Tuesday, their once a month patch delivery.
So if you are running Windows Update it will have downloaded that in the background Red.

Thanks Duk. (Makes a change from pancakes)

Your welcome Tom, all this discussion about the bandwidth it consumes is consuming extra bandwidth tho Smiley
If you find 3Gb a month isnt enough T-Mobile offer the same with an option of 10Gb for £44 a month.

And yes Microsoft have regular monthly update to fix all the issues identified and fixed.
If you cant sleep and have exhausted all other forms of passing the time..

The Liverpudlian? Can you confirm that hotdog?

I think the sheet must have him and his neighbour the wrong way around.

It looks very like him, placed in the £500 @ Blckpool in November
And got his seat fo the £1000 same time I did.

I KNOW IT and ifm will have to confirm this one for me, but even though this chipy chap (who I believe is Graham Suckling) is a Liverpudlian, I often see him around these shores so he might well be a Scouser living in Brum. Nice guy though.

Snoops

Isnt that Jimmy Morgan, who you said lost earlier with A Q to Ryan Frondas AA ?
