Thanks Kev, I was asking Mikey though as he suggested he'd found a cheaper option Smiley

Post-game update - the event was a huge success, with 114 entries and over £1100 raised for Cardiac Risk in the Young so far!

We had five special bounty players - Gareth Graham (ex-Wimbledon), Glenn Brown (Redtooth), Emily Glancy (Redtooth and Unibet streamer), Jeff Kimber (poker pro) and Niall Farrell (poker pro), as well as a last minute special guest player in Wimbledon legend Wally Downes.

Was a really good game, and thanks again to Tighty and Party for all the help and added value.

Do the powers that be at ITV not know how to spell Morocco?

Why on earth do they abbreviate it to "MAR"?

MAR is the FIFA three-letter code for Morocco, due to the French spelling.

Due to England playing on Sunday night we have moved this event to the following Sunday, 11th December.

Hi all, I am one of the admins for AFC Wimbledon Poker Club. We often have charity events and in the past have raised over £1000 for Dons Local Action Group, and £500 (twice) for NHS Charities.

Our next charity event is this coming Sunday, 4th December, at 7pm on Party Poker. We are raising money in memory of Jamie Vincent, a former professional footballer who my fellow admin, Stuart, went to school with. He sadly died earlier this year at only 46 years of age. His family have asked that we raise money in his memory for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

The game is a NLHE re-entry tournament, $11 buy-in with 60 minutes late registration and unlimited re-entries during late reg. 50% of the buy-in goes to the prizepool, and 50% to CRY. Party Poker have very generously waived the rake fees for this event, and have also added hundreds of dollars of added value in the form of tournament tickets for the top players, and for taking out one of the five bounty players. Thanks very much to Tighty for all your help with this.

All the details can be found at https://www.facebook.com/afcwpokerclub/ and https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/afcwpokernightcry , where you can donate if you would like to.

Any questions please let me know. Hopefully we'll see some of you on the virtual felt Smiley

I'd also recommend the Piano Bar in New York New York, great atmosphere for the night we had there, the piano players play until 2am and the ones we saw were superb.

What are the best websites to check for genaral info, best pubs, best restuarants, activities etc. in Vegas?
Thanks in advance.

Tried Ellis Island for the first time this trip - superb, really good ribs and chicken.

I've managed to snag a free Maverick helicopter night flight over the Strip worth about £100 thanks to the MyVegas apps so have an extra bonus to look forward to for my trip next week! Cheesy

I've got the Grand Canyon one in mine for 5 million LPs, but don't really fancy hours in a helicopter to see a hole in the ground Cheesy

I’ve done it
It’s an hour over the same ground- look out of the plane as you approach for the same opinion - to a hole in the ground cheap fizz n crappy wraps is the picnic 🧺
We did it in January the pilot said due to turbulence in warmer months the helicopter floor can be awash with vomit 🤮
Best one is the flight along the strip in the evening imo  🚁

As I really enjoyed the GC one I hope you're right Smiley

I might do the flight along the strip one night, as my friend has been on about it for the last few years, and we've never got around to doing it.

The night flight along the strip was very cool indeed. Not sure I'd have wanted to pay over £100 for it, but for free it was brilliant! I preferred the GC one though as I found that even more cool.
