Are you there yet. No Kev, we're pottling to Poole tomorrow and camping on the dock ready for sailing on Tuesday. Then it's a 25 hour voyage ( down the English Channel to the Celtic Sea and then across the Bay of Biscay to Santander. I got this from Wiki. Parts of the continental shelf extend far into the bay, resulting in fairly shallow waters in many areas and thus the rough seas for which the region is known. The Bay of Biscay is home to some of the Atlantic Ocean's fiercest weather. Large storms occur in the bay, especially during the winter months. Up until recent years it was a regular occurrence for merchant vessels to founder in Biscay storms, and many lives were lost. Improved ships and weather prediction have reduced the toll of the storms. Ooer! http://www.santander.co.uk/csgs/Satellite?pagename=BuscadorOficinas/Page/BOF_FrontEnd&empr=UKSantander&leng=en_GBI'm sure there's a branch is Castle Street isn't there?

Until recently I used to drive with scant regard for the speed limits, happily doing around 100mph on the motorway and 60 in a 30.
I got caught speeding (only a bit - didn't brake quick enough - god-damn cameras!) and went on a speed awareness course. I had no intention of modifying my behaviour prior to going on the course but something was said that struck a chord - what if you have an accident and kill a child, they run out in front of you, not your fault, unavoidable. But you were speeding. If you were obeying the speed limit they might have survived. Explain to their mother why you were speeding, give them your reasons.
Since then, early October, I've stuck to the speed limits.

Here's me final mo-pho <snipped to protect the innocent> It's a bit scruffy-looking and I'll be more than happy to part with it tomorrow. I've only managed to raise £78 for the cause so if anyone felt like chucking a few bob in to try to get me above the £100 mark, it'd be much appreciated. http://uk.movember.com/mospace/7548401Topped you up to the £100 mark Jack for shaving the noggin. Wd and see you this time next year itt. Cheers Eso!

Ah! That's that mystery cleared up, cheers Eso.
rfgqqabc - Adam - thanks for the donation! As you wanted to give it to Eso, I've made a donation of £25 to his Mospace on your behalf.

By the way, someone by the name of Jan Picken has donated an extremely generous £25 to my Movember page. Strangely though neither I nor Dawn has the first clue who it is. It's not someone on here, is it?
