Does anyone think its a little sad that an exciting poker tournament finishes this way, in a deal?  I don't at all begrudge deal makers, but there is a problem.  All of this great coverage for not since they made a deal.  Who won?  We will never know.

I watched the golf match play final today (including 3rd place match) at the casino.  Even the guys not caring battling it out for the 3rd place difference 600k for 3rd and 500k for 4th wouldnt make a deal.  In fact if there were even a hint of deal making both players would be suspended, and barred for life if they actually did.

Pascal Perrault - the only person, realstically, who can shift Lord Wernick of the top of the Rankings, has got off to a a flyer, up to 56k within 2 levels, & only played 3 hands. I am keeping Micky updated by text, at Micky's request. I am not absolutely certain of the maths, but Pasacal, if he finished 1st or 2nd, CAN still win the Rankings I believe.

Pascal is the ultimate ranking points whore :-).  He says to me, "you know for some of us in these little tournaments the rankings points me a lot."  I said, yea and if I win I'll be ahead you.  Whoops.

Of course Pascal is much more dedicated than me, and kudos to mickey for winning the 750.  Makes #1 much more legitimate now.   I still don't like the fact that you can not leave england and be #1.  Try not leaving romania and see how many points you get!

Can you feel the love in the room  tongue tongue tongue

I still hate everyone, well most everyone in poker.  Dirty people they are.  :-P

I don't see the point in fakeness here from anyone. People say the truth in intoxication and anger.  Most grown up people aren't out to bring others down, this is apparent here. But I don't see much sincerity in this thread either.

Maybe things can change however.   I remember the first time I met/played with garry bush I got in a shouting match with him, he was being a total a-hole.  He was up there on my hate list in poker for a long time. A's time passed I realized he wasn't so bad and was having a bad day then for whatever reason.   Now I appreaciate his unique style and sickness for poker.  I also feel sorry for him that he is unluckier than me in life.  I can forgive quickly anyone who struggles more than me. Maybe I'll send him a card....

Camel had some nice things to say about me as well, I can not wait
till I get the camel on my table hope you can scrape the buy in together.
And hey why are you not in Moncao wa***** like you can only sit at home
and abuse people like me. You know me better then to take a cheap shot
at me Camel.

   Totally uncalled for!

It's one of those things, camel was far out of line first.

Sorry?  I don't remember Camel calling Tony disgusting names.

I'm not going to get into a slanging match with anyone, but at the end of the day, I was embarrassed that Tony acted the way he did and that people reading the forum associated him with Blonde.

I love this site and I'd hate for it to be clouded in that way!

I may be a nice person away from work, but anything I do in work reflects on the company I work for, so if I abused a customer it would give this place a bad name, something I would be disciplined for.  OK, so Tony didn't abuse a 'customer', but he was abusive at a table and he is associated with Blonde - that in my book makes us look bad!

Rant over!  Going to health food shop for KALMS!

I am  inclined to agree with your logic, but I'm not sure he abused anyone.  All we have heard is hearsay.

I think it's cheap all of the people who don't know someone writing cheap shots about an event they are getting written reports about.  Believe me  the abuse I took for defending someone just showed what the true colors are behind the people posting anonymously.  You have to understand other people can be very jealous of your accomplishments.  The fact that nobody comes online posting hate about the homeless guys yelling obcenities and telling you that you're going to hell illustrate this point, or in a poker poker sense the railbirds looking for a buyin.

Believe me, even if you are friendly with everyone and never show emotion people still won't like you.  As someone who is young and fairly successful I see what abuse me and my friends take on a daily basis for no reason.  It's something you just have to live with.

As for Dave being angry with you, maybe that is a problem as I have yet to see him out of line.  But maybe this time you both were, I don't know.   I wasn't there to judge, he was.

Please watch the language guys. This thread is going elsewhere, and it is not appropriate. I will have to delete entries accordingly

Interesting what offends you.

$25k Entry is bound to get the adrenaline flowing big time. And if he does apologise

Can't agree with you John, I think the guy is a disgrace.

I think you're a disgrace for attacking someone you don't know.

I give you 4-1 on Matt Savage even knowing what or where Wales is.  At least he could know who the prima people are at a prima tourney.

English based Hendon mob player, Dave Colclough has been broken as his two pair, aces and tens are beaten on the river. The money went in on the flop where both players had hit top pair, Dave had A 10, the opponent had A K, and the flop read A, 5, 10.
