I have played on a couple of racetrack tables and one was fine, the other had the racetrack and cloth and different heights (significantly!) and it was a bit aukward.

Sit n go's on Sky... never ever again!
It's going so so slow!
The SNGs last longer than The Open did.

The format is good but I thought I was watching laddies with all those one and two outers hitting the board. Just watched AA loose to 99 and the other 9 had been mucked.
The presenter looked almost ashamed when the one outer hit.
I will be watching the cash tables before putting any chips down!
Not quite, it was AA vs A9, one 9 was dead, a 9 on the flop and a 9 on the river.

Patience is the key. Lots have people have gone out early becuase they over played their hands. The tournament lasts 3 hours don't put your chips in too early. Someone that presenter.

It was goin OK and then I got moved tables, 2 hands later I think they could start the tournament earlier, about 7-8pm, then they have more time to sort out some televised hands and begin the live coverage at 9-9:30. That should mean they can pad the levels out a bit.

My only concern is that the cash games (Full ring) are only averaging 15 hands per hour, so with 10 min levels (even 6 handed) you are not going to see many hands per level.
Having said that, the tournament should have a 'better class' of player now it is packed with blondes, so maybe 6 players won't see the flop every hand!?
Part of the problem is that dealing the cards is as slow as a real dealer

Did anyone else notice this? It says you can choose how much you can deposit free of charge. Well, seeing as it's free I might as well put in the maximum. I wonder why they need my card details

Have you tried to put cupholders in the rail? I would imagine that it is even more work than making a racetrack table.
Same no of holes to cut... but 6 or 7 coats of varnish less!! Wot about mounting the cup holder through the foam and the vinyl, doesn't that cause problems and possibly produce a rubbish finish around the edge.

Have you tried to put cupholders in the rail? I would imagine that it is even more work than making a racetrack table. I could go the Bellagio route and just use a serviette on the table with your drink on, but I think more drinks will get spilt at my house than in the Bellagio. I'll price up all the stuff and see what it comes to. Have you shipped all this stuff over? Did you get any customs fees?
Would I still need 2 sheets of plywood if I make a table without a racetrack? Or could I use 1 sheet of plywood and 1 sheet of mdf for the rail?
Thanks for all the info.
