Some incredible photos have been entered in the Royal International Air Tattoo photo competition at http://woobox.com/p7qeep

I posted my A400M photo but it looks rather ordinary amongst some of these pro images!

Any votes would be appreciated though.

On a personal note, has anyone ever told you you look the very spit of Mark S (Mark Strahan)? I really thought you WERE him yesterday.

I think you need some new glasses!

I bought into this tournament online via the DTD shop over 48 hours before the start and arrived at the venue in good time at 13:40. On arrival I informed the cash desk that I was there and was assured that my chips would be in play at the start.

I was therefore surprised when my name did not appear on the seat draw. I checked with the cash desk who then informed me that I was an alternate and on the waiting list! Sure enough a new table was opened within 5 minutes of the start. However, this meant that the table contained only players who had bought in directly and no online qualifiers. This didn't seem quite right when I had bought in two full days before and arrived in good time.

Just a minor gripe really as it made for a tough day having Ben Vinson and Jonathan Gill as blinds to my button! Apart from that (oh and Rastafish chirping for the Sky Poker camera on the next table) it was an enjoyable tournament with a great structure.

Great pics.

Fulcrum is my fav. It looks like a Polish one, had a google and tried to figure out who that famous pilot painted on the V-fin was.

I am going with Lt. Mirosław Feric, but can't be sure.

You are correct.

Thanks for updating throughout the day, Shaun.  Much appreciated.  Hanging on the FB updates now, and it's been fun to share the rollercoaster of emotions so far.

Nothing to fear now, it's all upside from here.  You still seem to be very clear in your analysis of things.  Wishing you all the luck and run good in the world, as they're the bits you can't control and you're clearly doing a great job with the bits that you can.

+1

So I've missed 17th 25th and 28th events obv
Will refund all with mark up. For transparency I'm not
Changing this schedule around so anything I play not on
This package is my own dime

Congratulations on your Binions score. However, For transparency you probably should have made this post BEFORE binking $26k in an equivalent buyin to the tournaments in the original schedule.

It would have also been easy to say, after the event, that this was an alternate to one of the original tournaments in the stake had you not cashed so big.

Anyway, good luck for the remaining tournaments and can you let us know which ones you are playing / skipping BEFORE the events?
