Ive seen 3 episodes of Supranos, but didnt find it funny at all, plus ive seen the ending so no point watching it now even if i did like it.
Isnt the Wire about lawyers? I usually only watch comedy/dark humour shows.
Ok it's just that he said you have so much to look forward to and reeled off some more characters from Breaking Bad and you answered talking about a bunch of other shows. Looked like you hadn't gotten what he was talking about...
Meh although it is funny granted, it's not meant to be a comedy. Though if you don't like it then you don't like it
The Wire is not about lawyers really at all although given the storylines and characters there are obviously a few about. There are several groups/storylines in the show.

Police Department
Politics

Later seasons incorporate more groups too like the Stevedores who work the docks and a heavy organised crime outfit run by 'the greek'. You also have the opposing Baltimore drug outfit to the Season 1 crew and later Marlo Stanfield too. It's just a really well worked show with some amazing characters, a couple people I know were sceptical about it too until they watched it and then rinsed all 5 seasons in quick time!
Since you gave such a detailed description, ill download season 1 this week.
