For people looking to avoid going the oft-travelled iPod route. The Creative Zen sleek is a strong rival to it. Review

I nearly got a free iPod at Cincinattis a couple of weeks back when a guy left his beside me on the final table inthe £10 rebuy. I'm too honest though & handed it in.

Reason for Edit: Link was SNAFU'd

We maybe should have left him with it & let a yank enlighten him  Grin

As long as the yank doesn't yank him, good idea.

I thought Red-Dog would be the one to volley that lob  Grin

cheers for that info guys.

The single re-buy sounds interesting - what's the score with membership? Just turn up on the night?

I had a fondness for the Wabash - is the Laird still around?

MM.

Membership needs ID (passport/DL) - but you can play the night you join.

Must admit I've not been in the Wahbash after a guy in the Riveboat told me a tale of chip-dumping & same village play. That was hearsay but it did put me off a bit. Also the location isn't the best (even though I have been known to partake of a wee glass of wine in the Brazen Head).

Cincin's is relatively new, but I'm more impressed with it than the Riverboat.

As Pat said we're pushing them for an alternative to the late bingo nights. There's a single rebuy limit a week on Thursday.

Sounds like this could be successful - 10-12 from the Shotts area. 5-6 from the TPT. A bunch from the Glasgow Poker Forum. A few mates of mine. Mikky + however many he can rope in. Rfc?

We should make over the 30 easy.

i aint ever been to liverpool but when are WE going?

Grin - I'm not goiing - there's a group of lads I know heading down & they asked me. I've not lived in Liverpool for about 9 years & all I remember were stripper nights in the basement of the Adelphi & a pub called the Goat where the barmaids were topless & then did a strip show at the end of the night.
