Hearts have been quite impressive - but like the others I doubt their renaissance can last the season.

But - should they keep in contention till Christmas & the signing window - then they might get more money from Romanov.

As for the poor benightedd fools who continue to compare the SPL to the Championship/Div 1.... I suggest you look at the European results between Scots & English clubs in the last 10 years or so. They tell a different story.

It's all down to pretending that you are irish. And that is what Celtic fans do best. Likewise, many Rangers fans will support the crown and thus England. Unless they happen to be in the company of an Englishman that is, then it becomes okay to hate them Cheesy

Some very broad & inaccurate stereotyping there Mikky.

Put me down for a tenner as well.

... and my tenner makes £5, ot to be collar and cuffs at this rate.

Don't think that's advisable - bleaching agents are a bit dangerous on the more sensitive skin on certain areas of the body  Shocked

I'd be wary, but it could be good advertising for the t-shirts (and babies bibs - don't forget the bibs  Grin).

Email back asking for his contact details, Use directory enquiries to get his office & call him via the switchboard. Then you'll know he's kosher.

Favorite Band - Big Country (as they're not going any more I try to get to gigs by new bands with ex BC band members in, namely Casbah Club, with Simon Townsend & Bruce Foxton, and Dead Men Walking, a supergroup with some great rockers in it).

Don't listen to much by bands who haven't at least 1 dead member, but will admit to being quite impressed by Kaiser Chiefs.

Other favorites: AC/DC, The Alarm, The Skids, The Clash, Atlanta Rhythm Section & Lynard Skynard, and nearly forgot Iron Maiden.

That was how Fari explained it to me. But this now cannot be accepted by the gaming board as now you sit down with less than you should have started and you have lost chips without playing a hand.

And I think the point has been lost....We cannot do the same system as USA because they allow late entries. The situation I am reffering to is for instance; 100 seat cardroom and 110 want to play (without going to 11 on a table this is an example) 110 people have registered now a draw must be done including the last 10 entries.

Not trying to cause problems, but if I turn up early to be sure of a seat & then miss out in a draw... I aint gonna be happy.

Best advice i can give you is ... Get a comfy computer chair, it really is money well spent, when you consider how long some comps take, comfort is a prority Smiley

Was thinking of a wireless keyboard & mouse  - then sitting on the couch with the computer using the 32 inch LCD in the living room  Grin

That would stop me watching telly when I should be concentrating.

Right - at long last I'm looking at getting back online from home & playing a bit more poker (it's been live games only since I moved into my flat back in Nov). Before the TPT guys start - YES, I'm a comminications Engineer & YES it's just typical that the last thing I'd sort out would be phone line & broadband.  Roll Eyes

So anyone playing a lot online got any recommendations on computers/broadband suppliers/ handy gadgets etc?

Cheers,

Rod

I've not been to the new club yet, can you just join on the night?

You can join on the night, but ideally some will join before-hand & say they're joining for the tourney....

Hopefully see you there.
