I highly recommend Stockopedia when deciding what to invest in.
Welcome to blonde mate, you must be new? Really interested in making some small investments over the next 3-6 months, but know completely nothing about the stock market.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to any recommended books for a novice?

Robert Yong 7 hrs Hi guys, catching up with me messages after sky, in response to numerous questions from eager poker players who like to plan there year ahead - provisional major events at Dtd Cardroom over the next 12 months are: 1. Sept 2014 - GPS 2. Nov 2014 - WPT 500 and WPT £3000 Main Event 3. Feb 2015 - The UK Poker Championships - we have verbal agreement to do this with Sky again 4, May 2015 - UKIPT £1M - we have verbal agreement with PokerStars 5. Aug 2015 - 6 Max Series - we intend to do this again following last week's success and hopefully this will be done with Sky again Our 12 month Calendar will be updated shortly http://www.dusktilldawncasinonottingham.com/club-calendar.php / ,we are keen to publish all DTD festivals 12 months in advance and be remotely organised, we will do our best to continue with our in house brands between these events such as Deepstacks, Grand Prix etc, but obviously we must make our partners a priority. Lets hope they reduce the juice slightly for the £3k, 60 runner events. Over 11% is just too much and to not even mention it before the tournament starts is a little bit naughty in my eyes. I hope numbers don't fall however I fear they will, which would be a shame as I definitely think there is a market for these kind of events.

Whether to shove or not is all down to whether you think he would bet/call the river with AA, AK, KQ, KT, K9s. Given the board texture, I've discounted a little as I think he will call and fold some and have us at 56% therefore it is a shove. If you think they're always folding top pair or OP to a shove then just call and exploit them in other ways. I'd prefer to have 99 in my check back range and to bluff with something like QJ. We don't want to be betting with our whole range when checked to, especially on this board texture. We still have equity v an 8 which they have 3b light with. QJ also blocks AQ & AJ which are likely holdings enabling us to fire on every street. AT- may fold to 3 bullets and AK would probably bet the flop.
