Loving reading a lot of the lower league forums at the moment

Every club is in crisis either signings not enough or not good enough (judged on pre season) or results in pre season have been shocking.

Pre Season is almost irrelevant results wise as I have learnt to my cost over the years

Leeds have had a fantastic preseason, not many will go away to Oxford Utd & score 3, couple that with big draws at York & Southend I'm sure plenty will be snapping up the 10s on Leeds winning the championship title.... not to mention the dismantling of Guiseley AFC on their home turf...

You're too kind Tony, i'll endeavour to post more, probably a little hard to get involved on a betting and poker forum when you do neither very much!

I still read most of the diaries Wink

Glad you've got this PSG guy. Arteta is highly regarded at City and I'm pleased he stays and continues to work under Pep.

What do you Gooners think of the appointment? Seems one of the best available options on the market.

Personally, as a number one fan, die hard gooner, so long as the manager isn't Mourinho, Allardyce, Rogers or Pardew  i couldn't give a monkey's who the manager is. I'd like us to move to the Chelsea model of a new coach every year or two. I would have liked to see Benitez appointed tbf, got a real soft spot for him ever since his famous FACT ! rant.

Can't beat a good ole FACT rant.

I wonder what M3Boy is up to these days.

I hope still giving his Regards

Either;

1) I've been whooshed yet again, or....

2) You may be confusing M3Boy with MPower. (FACT).

I'm so out of the loop now Tony.  Where is MPower, i liked his fantastic posts.

Regards

No worries Chris.

Regards is still around, more a reader than a poster these days but posts on the Politics threads from time to time, & on my Diary occasionally.

How are you these days?  What you up to? Life good?

Things are going well yeah, not much poker or betting after probably realising i'm not too good at either, been working hard & recently set up my own business (if anybody needs some life or illness insurance nudge nudge) and i got a baby on the way, figured if cos can do it so can i!

Are you still crushing? Smiley

Only three remain in the wooden spoon race and this is the equation:

If Panama win tonight, Tunisia are the worst team.
If Tunisia win tonight, Panama are the worst team.
If Tunisia v Panama is a draw, Egypt are the worst team.

I thought it was in the bag for Egypt Sad

great to hear from you mate, lovely posts & pleased you're doing well & are happy.

I would restart my blog about my love of cos, but i don't think the people are ready for it yet.

Thanks CTV.

I definitely think people are ready.

What are you upto these days? It's been a long long time since we chatted.

It was one of the better blogs on blonde Wink

So after i accepted that i had nor the patience, skill or self control to break even at poker i threw myself into work.  Got a lucky break and managed to do pretty well working protecting peoples families against sickness, death etc.  Insurance salesman if you like.  Then worked my way up to middle management, bought a nice house & moved my lass in.  Life was easy, i had a good safe job with a nice income & figured that i was ready to take on a challenge, so i decided to set up on my own, so as we speak i'm technically unemployed but as of next monday will be the director of my own little business.  Hoping to take some people on & make a go of it, but if all else fails i reckon i can go back into my old role without too much fuss.

Oh and my lass is 14 weeks pregnant... what a time to quit an easy job!

Keep the updates coming Smiley
