Those of you who do knot know or seen it as it will probably never be aired on TV Mr. Paul Jackson would be the one holding 94 off as he is a professional aces cracker.
I say this as in the J Texas tournament he managed when we were 3 handed to crack my Aces with 33 and knock me out. He then went on to crack Mr Michael Creco`s Aces with some other random hand to win the event.
Well done Mr Jackson.

Hi Paul - do you know if this tourney is ever going to be aired? After the heats you ended up heads up in the final with my mate Graham Clarkson (I believe you did a deal), and I just looked forward to seeing some of the hands as Graham said it was a decent table/tourney.

Any opinion of him and his play there?

Cheers!

I have no idea whether or not this will air but i obviously hope it does.

Graham played great in the final and arguably deserved to win the tournament. Although it was nip and tuck at one point he had the game won and i got very lucky against him.

If i hear any more about it being aired i will post it on here.

Paul

Will the video's of your poker on Laddy's you made for your old site with sealey be available on the DTD site? I watched a few and found them very entertaining and helped my game alot. Not only do I like your play but the way you deal with other players and the 'friendly' banter you had on laddys.

Cheers

Thanks very much.

I and some of the other DTD players will be producing similar and hopefully better videos on the DTD software.

We will not be seeking to make any money or profit from this activity it will be purely by way of an option for those playing on the DTD poker site. So maybe they will be acquired using MPP, s or some similar thing so that only DTD players can access them.

We will also be doing some shooting star style bounty tournaments on DTD as soon as things settle down.

hi paul can you tell me how to play ACES v 94 off plz ,i cant seem to get past them lol.

When yr opponent calls yr raise with 94 os and cracks yr aces as he is scooping the pot if you head butt him you wont have "got past them" but it may ease the pain

What do you do when you have a burning desire to just donk money off?

Have a strum on your old john boy or take a break or what?

Or play limit poker?

i dont need to have the desire to donk money off in order to justify a strum on my old john boy.

Also ben it tends to be more pleasurable and less expensive to have a fumble than go on tilt though as you are progressing from the latter maybe you ought to try both in initially until you wein yrself off tilt and firmly onto the john boy strumming.

I hope this helps you but please try not to think of me during your new strumming career

Are there any female players you admire and if so what is it about their game you like?
What makes overall a good player? Irrespective of male/female.

I think what makes a good player is having the intelligence and good judgement to look at and obtain the greatest possible information available at any given point and make the correct decision , based on that information, as often as possible.
Very often hands play themselves or you have little or no choice but one particular course of action but its the times that a decision is required that is important as that is the real skill in my opinion.

Obviously having the bottle to take big chances and make big moves can also be important but it is very hard to master that ability and many players just do that at random times and cross their fingers hoping their timing is good, in my view that method is more luck than judgement , even though it can also work.

In terms of female players i don't see the situation as comparable with "a good big un will always beat a good littleun" in that a good female player is of equal ability as a good male player, at the moment there are just a much larger pool of male players from which to find good ones  so male players seem to be more successful than female ones.

UK female players i like include EPT winner Vicky Coren who thinks about the game and talks the game as she plays ( and has a sexy voice) and Lucy Rokash who has done so much for poker over many years and is fearless ( she doesn't have a sexy voice but scares the chit out of me when I'm at her table)

Actionjack,

Have u totally stopped playing on laddies and are u plannin on dominating the mtts on crypto like u did on laddies?

Yes i have stooped playing on Ladbrokes and will now play virtually all my on line poker on DTDpoker. I very much doubt i will have the time to attempt to dominate the MTT's and in any event there are so many good players now i would not be able to even if i tried so probably better that i cant even try then i wont fail Smiley

When do you feel the time is right to change gears?

As you know JP the best time to change gears is when one or more of your mates ex-girlfriends or younger sisters are feeling vulnerable or horny or both and then pounce mercilessly- why did you ask me that JP you taught me that ?

any tips for when your going through a really bad run?

I strongly reccomend that you either move down in terms of stakes or preferably take a break from playing for a day or so ( depending on how messed up your head is).

Everyone has bad runs and how you deal with it will often make or break you as a player.

good luck

I would love to read your thoughts regarding that Monte Carlo hand, and the build up to it and did Phil Ivey ever ask you to play golf with him?

thanks

I had played too weak against Phil ivey when heads up and i now squirm when i see some of the hands i folded to him post flop.
He is very aggressive in a clever way in that he is relentless rather than mindless and keeps you under constant pressure (he had a huge chip lead which made it even easier for him).

He told me afterwards that based on how he had seen me play  he believed i wouldn't lie down and would make moves on him and he was sure that i had done that in two specific hands prior to the one we are talking about ( i hadn't made those moves in actual fact i had checked the turn in two cases with a hand knowing it would induce him to have a pop at it on the river which he did and i re raised him both times).
I had folded from the small blind to his relentless raises too often and simply decided that before i saw my cards i was going to win that hand one way or another to slow him down a little- it didn't quite work out as planned.

I didn't play him at golf he offered me too big a handicap and i didn't want to take advantage of him!

Hi

I have only one association now in terms of poker and that is entirely with DuskTillDawn. Which with Rob at the helm will ,i expect, prove to be the most poker player friendly option available to all European players.

We are in the business of honesty and having fun.

We have free rolls planned for our on line traders for entry to the Walsall GUKPT and the Paddypower Irish Open main event.

The main player freeroll takes place on Sunday 4th Feb at 7pm GMT for player that have earned 400 MPP's as at that date.

The 1st prize is a $15,000 WSOP package and the remaining $10,000 paid according to position (subject to player numbers).

We will be having similar free-rolls for DTD players to reward loyalty.

good luck

Paul
