2. Cards shown by players.

Currently penalised by not being able to bet again. Other places automatically disqualify them. If d'q do they get chips back etc.etc.

If a player shows his or her cards in error then they shouldn't be disqualified - this happens at sheffield and in my opinion is a terrible way to resolve a situation (it is open to abuse by players who can motion like they are all in but keep chips back - this in turn can lead to their oppo to turn their cards over and disqualify theirselves.)  If a players cards are exposed accidentally then yes, they should not be allowed to make the betting again, only be allowed to call an opponents bet.

Errrrrrr Junior......this changed in Sheffield in April
Tis now as the TDA rules

Right im Conscious again , dunno about you lot but these festivals are trying to kill me.
trying to do a 55 hour week on 7 hours sleep just aint big or clever.
Anyway....

First off Congrats too Keith for winning the main event it was a pleasure watching the final table progress with so many class players on it, and very nice to see the main event won outright and no mention of a deal at any point.

Thanks also to Tikay and the poker 425 team for making the filming of the final as unobtrusive as possible. Hope you can come back and film again at some time.

Thanks also for all of you that turned up tis nice to put names to faces and was a pleasure to meet all of you ( sorry if i did not have time to talk to all of you, but i did try to. Next time if and when you come up please introduce yourselves so i have a clue Smiley

Finally
Thanks to the dealers and the valets who worked the respective gonads and titties off during the week ( valets made a few quid and the dealers had to settle for me buying them a beer friday night)
ta to forde for his invaluable contributions as ever.
As always i have enjoyed running this festival and am looking forward to December ( will post fomat as soon as possible)

Thanks

Craig

Right

as to getting together with other supervisors/managers to thrash out some 'standard rules' i cannot wait to do it cos generally all the local rules suck worse than a sucky thing.
Napoleons casinos or at least the Sheffield ones WILL fully support a standard set of card room rules.
The sooner the better as far as i am concerned.....

13  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Flatter Payout Structures - "It's Your Money" have your say - Elimination Poll 1 on: June 13, 2005, 03:37:41 PM
as stated before
How can a casino possibly ban deals its not the casinos money and surely it is up to the players to decide if they wish to split the money
However much i would like to see every comp played out the lure of a good deal to the shorter stack is often too much
