Poker Forums / The Rail / Playing on friends wireless - am i ok?
|

Might be a stupid question but i me visiting a friend and grinding a bit on line, as i am using his wireless connection does this cause possible issues with collusion ? I have no intention of such and would generally not be in the same Tornies as him, so where do i stand? I would hate to finally get a bink and then to have it with heldheld as 2 people playing on the same wireless connection, or does this even matter? Was goner email stars and ask but thought i would try here.
I do have a dongle and am happy to play on that, but was just wondering?
And again well done Flushy, do the same in again Ireland betting on you again.
Cheers
Steve

Got an email with a automatic refund, would have preferred to play it and take a shot at first. So close so many times this is just a differnet way to stop be getting there Better win one soon.

Haha,
Yup over the years i have been terrible sleeper, really active mind, recently running well though so hope that this is a one off.
I also started 2 weeks Easter hols (College lecturer) so a bit of disruption can't hurt. Also fancied seeing what the play was like in the wee hrs as i here peeps talking about this all the time. Hoped to rail some deep Tourneys too but unfortunately no Blonde names i follow seemed to be around.

(Steve I have deleted that inappropriate comment, ignore it please..Rich)
Wow was goner post some basics questions but not sure if I should now I did read through the thread and hence came across the lovely post above. Some of us have never played an event of this magnitude and will need help with some basic questions, after all I guess you all want newbies like me to attend, my highest ever live buy in to date is £30 . So some basic questions, being positive that I am going to win I assume if I win through on day one Wed I wait until the day 2 on Saturday etc, so on thu, fri, are there other side events? Does DTD run any or are they be fully occupied with the main event. This may obv dictate which day I travel up from Kent on. So in short I suppose I am asking what other things may be going on during the down time. Also roughly what time would each day finish, and deffo some help on the event finish time because I have work on the Monday and would need to make arrangements for when I FT the event I have other questions will try to research them myself, but please don't put us dead money players off its already daunting enough. Regards Steve Hi Steve, Of course we will not put you off, infact one of our regular £15 players recently won a seat into our £500 Deepstack and ended up winning the event and he still doesn't know how...so beginners luck might just be with you. You can choose to play from any of the 3 day 1's. Wednesday 11th, Thursday 12th or Friday 13th April all at 12noon and those remaining after the end of the levels played on day 1 will make it through to day 2 which will start at 12noon on Saturday 14th all chips will also be carried over. There is a day 3 on Sunday and a final day on Monday 16th which unfortunately we cannot guarantee what time that will finish. In answer to you side events question, yes there will be side events running all week and I will attach the full schedule below so that you can see exactly what is happening, some side events may stretch over 2 days but this will be noted on the schedule. if you have any other questions you can post them on here (others may be looking for the same answers) or feel free to Private message me or email me at nicola@dusktilldawnpoker.com with a long list of questions Cheers Nicola Thanks for the reply i really fancy having a shot chatting to a couple of others who i may be able to encourage to have a go. Regards Steve
