ok, blinds are 100/200 but go up to 150/300 in 2mins. i only have 2050 chips and on the button. get dealt mid position raises to 1000, he has about 8000 total. obviously he aint gonna fold for 1000 more, and im most likely gonna be a coinflip at best. who goes all in and takes the coinflip and who passes and looks for a better spot to double up?? just askin cos me and my mate disagree on wot i did

hmmm i dont really like the limp after the utg limp cos it gives the opprtunity for a lot more limpers and u dont want a multi way pot. but after this guy does raise and u pop in a nice reraise im very suprised at him stayin wit his AQ. maybe he wasnt aware that a limp reraise shows a lot of strenght. at the end of the day ur a big fav and are unlucky that the 2 aces hit

93 runners, start wit 2000 chips, 20min clock
i know wot ur saying, i did have that in mind to fold a lot, but it wasnt like i was way out in front. the top 6 were pretty even and i was never comfotrable enough to keep folding. the JJ just seemed to be the start of many times i was havin to lay down big hands and hit a cold deck. was devastated though, never played in a tourny the size of a GUKPT as only a student and cant afford it. i think nerves took over me a bit in the final stages

ok so i did check and the river comes a the SB then bets £20 to put me all in. now i know everyone should say this is easy fold but i only had about £20 left and the pot now has about £80+ and i know how this guy plays. he had earlier bluffed a £8 pot wit from the SB when the board had 4 diamonds wit 3 players behind him. i had put him on a rag ace or the only hand he could have if he is beating me is A10. i decided he didnt have that hand and pot odds told me to call. he shows obviously im very upset he called wit this bearing in mind wot the flop was. but wot annoyed me more was him and another player berating me for checking the turn. they say how it was my own fault and should have gone all in on the turn. but how can i put him on when hes calling that flop

at my local casino last night playing £1/£1 blinds pot limit. im only sitting with £45 at this point. aint played a hand for ages, not cos im a really tight player just havent got dealt anything, and havent raised a hand pre flop at all during the night, so have given myself a rock image. get dealt a pretty looking and make it £5 to go from utg+2. the players then all say how this is my first raise and i must have the monster, none the less the button, SB & BB call. flop , checked to me, i bet £12, button folds but now BB and SB both call. SB is a total fish but BB is a more solid player. turn is a raggy , its checked to me. wot would u do now?

i have a question and want to get people opinion on how they play a paired flop in early position when ur holding the single pair. to make this easier to understand, say u have in the BB in a 1/2 cash game. after 4 or 5 limpers u check and flop is how do u play it? do u bet out - if so how much, or do u check, looking for a check raise, or just check call? i sometimes find myself i a muddle in how to play these hands. is there a set way u think they should be played i hope this isnt a dumb question
