Alan Smith has been up there as player of the season, and previously I couldn't stand him. Nolan's goals probably edge him out just. He isn't in the team to score goals so why would a mange judge him on that?! Look at Mascherano or Mackele's record and compare to that.
If we cant offload players this summer we really should absolutely piss that league if those that stay can play to 60% of their ability. Having said that, we also wouldnt have gone down if they could have done that.
Lets see what happens anyway. Things are very rarely easy with NUFC, so its unlikely to be coasting at the top of the league all season like we somehow did last time.
These things are com. I don't really understand why those that use them don't just walk around with their cock out if they need this reassurance of being a man... then again, perhaps that option doesn't work for them.
I admit to being naive about unions, maybe it's an age thing, but unions to me just stand for a group of people who have somehow managed to gain massive leverage to protect what are often jobs that have low barriers. The fact that some jobs with unions require unions says everything, protecting cushy numbers. Things having always been a certain way doesn't excuse what in some cases is just pure fraud. It seems like we've slipped back a few decades recently with strikes, or strike threats, all over the place. I wonder how many business failures it will take until employees realise they need to keep their companies alive for the next year or so and come back to the table when the company makes some money.
These appear to be positive steps towards an end goal, which must be great after the last few weeks. I appreciate it's a massively critical time for you all. Hope things continue to move forward and there are some more assurances from the docs heading your way.
