i would love too to try and play poker or at-least sit at table and pretend i knew what i was doing, as i used to try and do. But 3 day events with travel turns into 5 day events for me so its unlikely i will.
I thought that might be the case for you, but if you want to have a look and see if you can do it then lmk. We do have to get names to APAT by a week on Friday though so understand if that time frame is a bit too quick. FYI it is a two day event, just the Saturday and Sunday, if that helps.

Submitted the request to Tom Brady at APAT for a team from Blonde.
Deadline is Sunday 11th Dec and need to have team player names in by 23rd December so assuming we get in, current list of people who said to me they want to play is as follows:
Me Frank (cormach) Simon (redsimon) Michelle (HoldOrFold) Curtis (Sheriff) Adrian (bunnydas)
If we get more than 8 people showing interest I'll do a random draw live and put video on here, seems fairest way.
Anyone else? Tikay? Tighty? Flushy? RED-DOG? Karabiner? Kinboshi? Be good to have some of the old faces back!
And we are in. Need two more players assuming the 6 names are still available?

How on earth do Tal Bloke & JonMW know these obscure things?
You've met Jon MW, right? I'm more impressed that he keeps the level of knowledge he has considering it would be expected he'd get routinely distracted by Science Wife.

I'm going next month to use up a bunch of Cosmo comps before they amalgamate with MGM, and very glad I have some dollars already from the last trip. Feeling a bit sick at changing up a grand and only getting 1100 instead of the 1300/1400 I've been used to over the last few years. Least its a solo, low roller trip!

Didn't play in the WSOP but took a walk round and did see many tables offering to help non-US citizens with tax issues following any large win. Not sure of the cut they would take but made me think the WSOP themselves were withholding tax from European winners.
They were this year. Something to do with licences to issue ITIN's and the WSOP's move from the Rio to Bally's meant they didn't have the right licence. Hopefully they will be able to sort it out in time for next year.

In fact, looking at BA Packages, those dates are coming in as:
Bally's - £955pp Paris - £987pp PH - £988pp Cromwell - £999pp Vdara - £1127pp Bellagio - £1315pp Aria - £1588pp Cosmo - £1736pp
At those prices, compared to above, I'm booking Aria as quickly as I can.
