Looks like it's a 3pm start on Saturday. Not sure how many levels are being played on Day 1 but have asked and when I hear, I'll let you all know.

Right.

Sent the shirt details to Tom but heard nothing back, so will start collecting money based on what he originally said. It was £15 for a t-shirt and £18 for a polo. I'll PM my bank details separately along with what I sent him for the order to each of you.

I've seen a few recommendations for crushlivepoker.com - they have podcasts I believe that might be of use.

Other than that it's all courses. Think RYE have a good course but its pricey.

No worries, will just be £15 for regular tee and £18 for polos then. Just waiting on sizes from OTB & Dan once you've PM'd me Smiley

Yeah, Michelle, if you can get that flipped send it to me on FB and I can send it to Tom. It only adds £3 to the shirt so I imagine price not an issue if we can get it to work.

Sadly I don't think the logo will be an option. I've been advised that the gold writing will not look good with the, y'know, gold shirts. Oops. Ah well.

Also, cheers to everyone for getting bought in early, the whole team is in.
102  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: APAT Live Returns - with the Forum Team Championship, 12/13 Feb, DTD on: January 13, 2022, 05:07:31 PM
Right, so this is what I know about the shirts:

"Team t-shirts £15 each - if you prefer to order polo-shirts they would be £18 each - the cost includes printing of the APAT logo and event details on the back, with above that your team name (across the shoulders) and on the front (central) your team name.

If you want any graphics, or photo or logo etc then they can also print that anywhere on the shirt, but that would be an extra cost, and a quality digital image is needed for it (or they are happy to try and source an image for you if you give a description of what you might want - Boris Johnson partying the night away or whatever 😂).  You can also have the player name or nickname on the front."

Gold shirts are available and to be honest I think they'd be better. I can ask Tom how much to put the blonde logo on as well if everyone wants to?

Can you let me know by PM your shirt size and how many you want ASAP please? They want the orders within 48hrs to give enough time to get the printing sorted. I'll get the orders in then sort payment. If you want polo shirts also let me know.

Shirt details coming tonight when I get home as Tom sent them to me late last night from work.

Gold shirts are available.

Think they'll be covered under the 'extraordinary circumstances', though.

Might see if I can get a free upgrade for summer, or something. I was flying back premium, and ended up in economy (ish) on the Delta flight they put me on.

Why? What was the reason?

I was meant to be going Vegas - LAX - London

They switched me to Vegas - Atlanta - London

I ended up on 2 Delta planes, both full, instead of Delta - Virgin.

Might depend which leg was cancelled as it only applies to EU airlines flying in or out of the EU.

Yeah, they cancelled my LV-LA leg, and then my Virgin PE LA-Lon leg got replaced with Delta.

Which leaves the only remaining question why in the world did you have indirect flights!

It was all booked directly through Virgin, and the direct return flight was £500 more.

Surely if it's all booked on one code then you're covered, and fall under the delay rule? IE you were supposed to be back in London on X day, but arrived >24hrs later.

Have a look at this link - https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/flight-delays/

I would be arguing that Virgin are the operator - they've cancelled the original flight and as a result you've been delayed more than 4hrs from your original time. Therefore they owe you £520.
