Incredibly disappointing to be a Wednesday fan at the moment, we've made no moves whatsoever. If it wasn't for two weak sides in Yeovil and Donny coming up, then is be very worried about our chances.
We need strikers & quick.
I struggle to understand Barnsley signings though. COG is very 'meh', Nyatanga wasn't overly wanted by the faithful at Bristol City & Cofie made no impression at League One level.
COG is far from 'meh'.His form was outstanding in the second half of the season. Nyatanga didnt do too well last year but he was solid when on loan with us from Stoke. Coife wont be starting for us, he's one for the development squad. We've also signed Jennings who could be class and a big unit of a defender today who I dont know much about. We've kept all the players we wanted from last year. We're one striker short of a very good championship squad. I have so much faith in Dave Flitcroft. The bloke installs confidence in the fans and players. There's been some exciting changes at board level too. Any Barnsley fan will tell you its the most optimistic we've been since our return to the championship. Cue 0-6 drubbing to Wigan on opening day. 2 Barnsley fans on one forum. Is that some sort of record? Three

Had a 5 EW on Sitting Tenant at 150-1 in the 5.35 at Aintree! Romped home! It was massively overpriced, think it started at 66s but me and my mate both got on it about half hour b4 at 150s! Cha ching!

Some good points here. I think personally i would have binned the hand preflop.Ive generally found players at the level of MTT i play at to check call with a set or two pair on that flop then c/r all in on the turn. Just out of interest do u think yang would have folded had Hilm led out on the flop, yang re-raised and hilm pushed?

id be tempted to say higher for all the bowlers, simply because u cant lose a great deal but can win a lot
batting wise
strauss is due a ton so id go with him higher cook, id say lower, dont think he's at that level yet, massive potential and fine hundred at the waca bell, been pretty consistent but doesnt seem to make the big hundreds so id be tempted to go lower as he aint gonna be a big earner collingwood, great attitude, fabulous double hundred, tho technically poor outside the off stump early doors, seems to be clarkes rabbit kp, higher likely to make big hundreds if he gets in, again id say if freddie, awkward, not in great nick but my heart says a flintoff hundred at the mcg
thats my two penneth

Im pretty sure im not the only one that would take winning every competitive game 1 nil if it meant we won the world cup.... look at englands rugby team, when we won the world cup we hardly played sincilating rugby, jst used our forward strength and let sir jonny knock over the goals...
