Blondeites Down!
Very much OUT is Mr Evilpie, who ran A-3 into something rather better belonging to Paul Gourlay. "That was short and sweet," said the Pieman and headed off to the cash tables.
Also a goner is Mr MrAlex2U (sp?) - after nursing a short stack for much of the evening, he ran his A-9 into pocket kings. However, I have been playing matchmaker, and have arranged for Mr Kinboshi, currently seated in the cash area, to buy him a consolatory beer. Ahhh.

Daniel Ward: 8k and silently contemplating this James Atkin: 8.5k and apparently not bothered in the slightest; all you can hear at his table is incessant Atkin chatter. Mark Spearman: OUT, when his Q-T came a cropper against Mateyboy's pocket threes on a 3-Q-J-Q-9 board.

20k, and he's eating a bowl of chips! "No, I'm just watching it for that guy." (Hiding his hands under the table and trying to look like he's not chewing) "I'm looking after his fork too."

Good news Kevin Smith fans.
No, not a sequel to Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, but an impressive leap from 6k at the last count to 26k now. He tripled up with pocket tens against A-K and A-Q, and then managed to make himself the nut flush a few hands later against something that was clearly not as good as the nut flush.

A double up for Ms Andrea Gough, in one way or another (missed that bit) getting it in with on a three-diamond board against Mateyboy's . An impassive Ms Gough up to 14k; a very dejected Matey within millimetres of the felt on just 4k.
