Andrew Murphy is also gone.

Down to the very felt, he called all on from the small blind to a standard button raise from Nick Hicks, and was in trouble.

Murphy: two hearts
Hicks:

Kate Langshaw picked up a few chips, raising preflop and getting herself called by Alistair Cairns in the big blind. Come the Two Clubs flop, he checked to her, and she shoved for her last 50k. Some squirming, but a fold resulted in Langshaw taking the pot.

Nicky Mclellan found himself all in with A-K against Darren Shallis' A-K, and with no surprises from the deck, they split the pot.

A few hands later, Mclellan raised and it folded around, and he showed A-K again, to guffawing from the table. Steve Jelinek tells me that maybe 12 of the previous 20 hands, Mclellan had found A-K...

Oh deary deary me, a very unhappy Chris Bruce is OUT. Steve Jelinek shoved with K-4 most unreasonably, Brucey called with a very reasonable Q-Q, the board came down with two highly unreasonable kings on it.

Brucey: "FFS, I'm f***ing so sick of this s***..."

Jelinek: 140k, and, "I should have told him it was a bad call..."

I believe Ben Vinson is a near-the-bubble casualty; perhaps Floppy has the details...

Barry Neville has more to rant about now, after taking down an enormous and bizarre pot.

Steven King Vine raised, and Neville reraised. Flat call. "That's not a problem, sir," lied Neville.

The flop:

Vine checked, Neville bet a sizeable 20k, and Vine called so fast I barely saw his hand move.

Turn: , and both players checked.

River: and again, both players checked it.

"Flush," announced Neville, turning over the very feeble . Vine showed him , and promptly wandered off to calm himself down. Neville remained sanguine for a moment, before starting, "'E played thaht ahbsolutely 'orrendous..."

Neviile: 130k
Vine: 90k

Massive Pot Alert

With Nikolaos Sforos already all in before the two hearts flop, Rana/Harpit Gurnam moved all in to a bet from David Mundle. Some dwelling, some squinting, and eventually some calling.

On their backs.

Sforos:
Mundle:
Rana: Two Clubs Two Diamonds

Yikes.

Turn:
River:

Thus Sforos is OUT, Mundle is down to 37k and yesterday's big stack Rana has somewhere around the 130k mark.

My, don't I take a flattering photograph.

Hey ho, good job!

I was wondering if Ben Dobson was still in and if so how is he faring?

Nope, I'm afraid he went out 51st.

Unluckiness for Joseph Byrne, as he gets most of his stack in with against Colin Young's .

Board:

Yuck.

All in two hands later from the cutoff for his meagre 6.5k, he got himself called by Daniel Shelemy on the button. Mad Turk-alike Morteza Assadi reshoved, and again Shelemy called.

Shelemy:
Assadi:
Byrne:

All three players agreed that they were actually very happy with their respective hands, and the board was dealt.

Board:

Thus Mr Byrne is a goner and the other two gents make a slight profit by splitting the pot, and the bubble draws ever closer as we get down to 41 players.

Come on, hometime!

Booder Disaster

Steve Vine limped in early position, and an aggressive and possibly tilty Erik Naslund shoved behind him. Booder woke up with pocket queens, and reshoved. Back to Vine...

...and a call. Oh no...

Booder:
Naslund:
Vine:

Board: three clubs Two Diamonds with not the merest glimmer of hope for Booder. Both Booder and Naslund are out, and with that we're down to 5 tables. "WHat can you do, you play for a day and a half..." Ul Booder, wp, gg etc.
