Morning Mr T.

Whilst that is a very fine looking ship I prefer this one, HMS Hemes. My reason for prefering it is because I was christened on it. I thought that the ship was scrapped but my research today shows that it is still in operation as it got sold to the Indian navy.

I am not sure why, but this really tickled me.

I have been to the Horniman and thought it a bit meh. Certainly preferred the British Maritime Museum.

I really like the Tate Modern- the exhibits are pretty awful but the building itself is tremendous.

He can have the credit as long as when the debt ceiling fails to get raised, and sends the markets into free fall, he takes the credit for that as well. I will go out on a limb here and suggest he will say it's the Dems fault for not co-operating in the House and Senate.

Afternoon Tighty.

Lots of superleague tonight. The match that I think has the best bet is Huddersfield v Wakefield. These two sides have had contrasting fortunes in recent weeks. Huddersfield are on the up while Wakefield have done well to get into the top 8, but their work is now done and I see a tough few weeks for them. I expect a comfortable win for Huddersfield tonight and I am going for an anytime try scorer bet tonight. With an expectation of 6 tries+ for Huddersfield I am going to suggest Ukuma Tai @ 5-2 with betfred. He plays back row but he has an instinct for the try line and gets used to good effect by the playmaker Danny Brough.

Suggest £20 Taai @ 5-2 with betfred.

I think the money spent on holding them would be better spent on improving the lives of all disabled people.

I prefer The Monkees over The Beatles.

I think that the Paralympics should not take place.

Women tennis players should not get the same prize money as the men.

Afternoon Tighty.

This afternoon's 2nd semi final in the Rugby league challenge cup is between Salford and Wigan. Wigan are favourites but I think the price is too short. I envisage a tight game and if Salford are to win then they have to cut down on conceding penalties. The 5/2 with betfred is a decent price.

Suggest £20 Salford @ 5/2 with betfred.

It's not often that Question Time gets more laughs than Mrs Brown ( well maybe it is ) but when Richard Burgon claimed that Labour campaigned vigorously to remain in the EU it brought the house down from the audience and panelists alike.

Morning Tighty.

Today's superleague has Wigan hosting Widnes. My favourite player to back for anytime try scorer,John Bateman, returned from injury a couple of matches ago. He has scored in both those games yet he is still being priced up too big. I would only have 3 players shorter than him today and I would have him at less than evens.

Suggest £30 Bateman @ 15/8 with Betfred.

The Hair and the Tortoise.

For those unsure who the Tortoise is, it is Mitch McConnell the leading Republican senator who has the task of getting the Trumpcare health plan through the Senate.

I think £1 billion looks extremely cheap compared to the alternative of the Labour manifesto and their expenditure plans.

And as for the Europeans treating us as weaker, well many of those countries governments have been coalitions for years.
