This is taken from an article in the New York post about Trumps forthcoming trip:

That brings us to the final reason why this trip is quite possibly the most ill-conceived misadventure in the history of American diplomacy. Trump, McMaster told us this morning, will give a speech in Saudi Arabia about Islam and religious tolerance.

It is virtually unfathomable that Trump, whose first months in office have been dominated by his (disguised) effort to keep Muslims out of the United States, could give a speech anywhere in the Muslim world on Islam and have it be well-received. Trump, after all, once told the Christian Broadcasting Network that the Koran teaches “a very negative vibe.”

What can possibly go wrong? I think the best result for the US maybe an impeachment before Friday, over the threats he made to Comey.

I am going for 25% of them.

Judging by what I have seen in the leaked manifesto, Corbyn should be campaigning in the old coal mining areas promising to re-open the pits and get Britain digging again. It worked for Donald.

So Labour are proposing an increase in income tax for those earning £80k a year to pay for improvements to the NHS. Maybe Corbyn would like to explain why they decided on that figure and not say £70k. Am I being too cynical in thinking that MP's salaries of £74,962 might have something to do with it.

Morning Tighty.

This could be another Hull KR/ Wigan moment from years ago, but tonight I feel we have to back a superleague team that at best can be described as functional, who are playing a team that are playing some of the most fluid rugby league I have ever seen. The match in question is Huddersfield against Castleford. Last week Castleford defeated Wigan by 50 points and looked like they could score whenever they wanted.

But I think there are good reasons to oppose them tonight. Most importantly the match is at Huddersfield. In addition there are massive changes to the Castleford team because of international call ups. They are without both half backs in Gale and Roberts, as well as their full back Hardaker. Castleford have had to recall 3 players on loan to other clubs for this fixture, while Huddersfield only have McGilvary called up to play for England.

It could all go wrong of course but this is not the Castleford team of this season, and we can get over 3 to 1 for Huddersfield tonight.

Suggest £20 Huddersfield @ 10/3 with betfred.

Anyone who wants a try scorer bet should back Jake Mamo of Huddersfield @ 15/8 with betfred.

Evening Tighty.

Tomorrow in superleague Catalans travel to Wakefield. This match could go either way and with the return of Aussie Greg Bird I have a  feeling that Catalans might win this one, not often I write that when they are on their travels. I don't especially like the 6/5 that is on offer for Catalan, as we are talking about the CESM's here, but I don't think that Wakefield are capable of stopping Cartalan from scoring 20+ points. So the player that I think provides the best value to score a try anytime is Richie Myler. He has scored 7 tries this season in 11 matches and could be given a lot of freedom tomorrow.

Richie Myler £20 @ 15/8 with Ladbrokes or Coral ( hopefully Tikay can do it on his walk )

Afternoon Tighty.

Tonight in superleague Hull host Warrington. It is a hard game to fathom out who will win this as both teams have been the epitome of inconsistent. However, Hull have the most creative player on the pitch in Albert Kelly, and I think he will swing it Hull's way. One area that I know Warrington are weak in is their centre defence. Hull have an elusive runner at outside centre in C Tuimavave  and I like his chances of scoring a try tonight.

Suggets £20 C Tuimavave to score a try @ 2-1 with Paddys or 15/8 with betfred

Afternoon Tighty.

In superleague tonight we have Leeds v Huddersfield. Leeds seem to have remembered what they did 2 years ago when they won the treble- namely offloads. That season they had more than double the number of their nearest rival. Offloading creates panic amongst defenders, and space for the middle runners, for Leeds this has been Moon and Parcell. Both of these players have been scoring lots of tries in the last 2 months. Huddersfield are in dismal form and despite being a bogey team for Leeds I think it will be a comfortable win for Leeds tonight.

Moon is priced at Evs to score a try anytime, but I prefer the price of Parcell at 7/4 with Betfred or 15/8 if the PP account is working. £20 will be fine.

Morning Mr T.

Today Wigan play the CESM's. Both teams have lots of injuries, but Wigans strength in depth is far greater than Catalans. Wigan's most potent threat is still created by George Williams and then finished off one pass out. Of my favourite people to back to score a try, 2 are out injured leaving Liam Farrell as the best bet at 5/2 with betfred. He is as short as 11/8 with 4 firms so I would be a bit sharpish if you want to get 5/2.

Just for a change I suggest £20.

might not be very cool to admit it but i really enjoy Peter Kay's Car Share, the second series of which began last night

half an hour of heart warming sentimental tv, and i smiled throughout

I totally agree and must be very twee rooting for the 2 characters to marry. The very opposite of Mrs Brown's drivel show.

Yes he is very good. The questions since the quarters have been very tricky too.
