Meanwhile Kinboshi has 1,200,000 a chip lead and the perplexed look of a balding chipmunk caught on a Canadian Highway with a big lorry approaching him.

Lol

Get it won, Dan.

Great updates Adam and Leigh, I especially like the inclusion of video.

Question for you two fine fellows, what time does the action resume tomorrow afternoon ? Amanda and I are going to drop in for a couple of hours.

Posted today on the APAT Forum, regarding the APAT World Championship of Amateur Poker (27th - 31st Aug) at DTD

Thought I'd copy to here for info......

The sale of seats for this event (Omaha, HORSE and Main Event) was due to take place tomorrow evening (Thurs 12th Feb) at 9:00pm, via a link on the home page.

Like the satellites that were due to take place this week, this sale has now been postponed.

A further posting will be made soon, advising of rescheduled dates.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Back on topic........I still cant get on the Apat site, is it still down or is it me?

Nah, still down Mike.

Daniel and I think Des is just raising the excitement levels, before bringing the site back up at 8:59pm  Cheesy

In this satellite the option to buy it was given to the person who bubbled - this seems fair, but I think it would also be fair (and simpler) if it just went in the general pool to be available to the clickfest.

Or it's offered for sale to the last person he knocked out.......?

That seems too random to me.

The person who bubbles has shown some skill to get to the bubble, the last person he knocked out might have been sitting out for 2 hours before losing his 1 big blind in a forced all in.

You could switch that around as well, Jon - the person who bubbled could have been sitting out for an hour, and the individual that was knocked out could have shown some skill in getting as far as he did.

No matter, Des will make the decision.

I do agree with an earlier post though, no one who has won a seat via a satellite should be allowed to enter a further satellite to the same comp.

Yeah that kinda sucks.  She does have another gallery at a photo competition site (don't have the details at work) and there's a bit of exif info on there, I'll send the link to you later if you like.

That would be good, thanks.

I'm also interested in the lighting she's using, it's absolutely spot on. Ah, and on the subject of work, I'd better do some.....  Cheesy

Just found the gallery myself - very impressive.

No Exif data though, that would have been useful.

Apologies in advance for going off topic.

Have to say to Mr Codd, some nice photos via your link sir. I've tried the water splashes also, with varying results, and yours look better than mine  Cheesy

Thanks very much, I've failed so bad and tried loads of times.  I spent about 4 hours a couple of weeks ago trying again but failed agin.

Have you seen Irene Mullers photos?  She's the Queen of the splashes, some amazing photos.

I haven't, I presume examples of her work are on the interweb ? I shall have to go looking....

Being able to play satellites MBSFN.

Surely you didn't donk that big stack off?!?!

I was yapping with him on the phone last night (his battery refused to do the decent thing and fail again) whilst he yo yo'd between 16,000 and 26,000. I couldn't believe it when he told me this morning that he finished 44th after donking.

The clickfest just takes a little preparation, and the ability to stay cool in pressure situations.

Now, where did I leave those meds.........?  Cheesy

If the demand is so high, can they not look at bigger venues, or have 2 day 1's etc etc?

Tsk, Dan types faster than me.

TY Tikay, very interesting stuff.  Seems some members of the forum dont appreciate your tales about steam engines, more fool them!

Indeed.

Have you ever visited my home village of Haworth, Tikay ?  http://www.kwvr.co.uk/events/index.htm

Blimey ... brings back memories.

When I lived in Burnley, we used to take any family visitors to Haworth, must have been in the Bronte museum dozens of times and walked up that frigging cobbled hill (where they filmed the old hovis adverts) too many times !!

Great Pub there ... is it the Bull ?

And have dozens of pics taken on the bridge at the train station as the steam trains chugged by.

The Fleece was better, Kev - full range of Taylor's Ales - all the pubs in Haworth are rubbish now though, they all just pander to tourists wanting to eat.....

And, as far as I'm aware, the Hovis ad wasn't filmed in Haworth.
