Getting car down Tuesday morning will stay at my mates settee tuesday night And go again if it's not a complete bloodbath. The car is driving us back 1am from Cheltenham So plenty of time for a beer.
My day 1 revolves round elegant escape which I hope goes for the 4miler. Also had decent bet on sceau royal which is being underestimated by the market presently Can't have petit mouchoir on grounds of his jumping. Footpad is a brilliant jumper and most likely winner But even money him or 4/6 apples jade? Only a madman would think footpad is better value.
Like la bague au roi ew for mates if she runs there. Not got stuck into handicaps on day 1 yet

Festival fever hitting boiling point now.
Biggest two positions are diese des bieffes for wherever he runs And elegant escape for the 4miler with savers at 33/1 for the rsa.
Started to shortlist the handicaps now.
Didn't back getabird at 9/4 the other week, but the supreme looks really Weak this year. Don't like Kalashnikov or Summerville (even though I'm on) The one I'd bet now if forced at the prices would be paloma blue 16/1. But will prob be looking to bet Getabird of it touches 2/1 anywhere

Just bet diese des beiffes pretty big nrnb at 14/1 for both the coral cup and the martin pipe, if this animal isn't at least a stone in I don't know one that is. Can bash the ew on the day with better place terms. Win only for now

Even though I've bet Summerville boy for the supreme looking Back on the tolworth it's hardly been a sparkling supreme trial Think last winner of both was noland and iirc the ground was on the softer side back in 06 The first 3 tend to go on to be stayers, even best mate was placed in the tolworth. I'm worried SB and Kalashnikov could get outpaced if the ground comes up quick. Watched getabirds last run and really did poach a lead to start but jumped brilliantly after And really quickened after the last. Very hard to crab his form and way more qualified to go off A short price than melon was last year. Just a few things about getabirds constitution I don't like (Had niggly problems) and was off a long time before December. It really doesn't look a deep race And getabird does look sure to improve on quicker ground and I'm starting to think could be way too quick for This lot.
