It is likely that once the jackpot is hit there will be some paltry amount left in the kitty. At this point the syndicate will be liquidated, leaving Greg who has already done lots of work on our behalf, the onerous task of working out who is due what and getting it back to them.

I propose that, in the event that each ticket returns less than it's face value, we donate what remains to a charity of Greg's choice.

At least someone might benefit from our greed.

I love biographies. I read peoples potted life stories on Wikipedia all the time.

I was particularly impressed by Esther rantzen,   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esther_Rantzen

I would welcome links to any others you think might be worth a read.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavomir_Rawicz

The Long Walk details Slavomir Rawicz's capture by the Russians and subsequent escape. Unfortunately there has been some doubts cast about the validity of the story but it's still worth the read just incase.

Shove Pre!
If you get a call then you can double or even treble up and put yourself back in the game. With only raising 60K and inviting callers AJ is only good to you on flop if you hit.

By not shoving pre your giving up your positional advantage. As the villain has chip and positional advantage post flop the chances are that he is going to bet out no matter what the flop. Thus leaving you scratching your head and posting on this forum.

Even if you bet out first/raise/shove on this flop the likelyhood is that villain will call as the chance of you having 8 is low IMO. With such a difference in stack sizes you're giving your oppos way too many chances than they need.

Please read the whole thread before replying!

Have reread whole thread again and if I've missed something can you be a bit more constructive in your criticism.
I was just putting my opinion forward, thought that's what this thread was for or is that a mistake also?

I'm glad it was sorted out for you but you should be more aware that there are people out there who scam money for a living have you not heard of internet grooming. I know it's usually a term associated with the worst kind of humanbeings (well they're not human) but internet grooming can take all shapes and forms and grooming people to scam monies is not a rare occurance and has been going on since yu could buy 3 goats for half a sheckle (Tikay might be able to confirm this). It would be nice to think that in this day and age that people were more honest and not morally corupt but alas it is not so.

It's just good to know that supportive social forums like Blonde exist to offer good advice to it's members.

Long live Blonde!!!

Mickey Wernick is continuing to bolster his legendary status, poised for his four hundred thousandth poker cash today, in the mix with 55k or so.

He's even got the masseurs drawing lots on who gets to touch his blessed beard. Looks like the long haired brunette got lucky!
