I agree, everything sucks lol
my initial reaction was to 3bet call, but we are surely going to be crushed against his 4b jam range from UTG? Really dont want to 3bet/fold TT. I think I'd flat here, is that bad?... either that or "accidentally" hit the reset button on my PC
I agree with this. I think pocket tens is not good enough to 3 bet call with as most of the time we are in pretty bad shape against an UTG 4 bet range. whereas if we do hit another ten, most likely in a multi way pot, we could get the lot.

I would CALL pre. I think the fact that we have no info on villian makes it more of a flat. ie-If he's raising a very narrow range from UTG we will be better off playing the flop in position without inflating the pot.

Good luck Mr Rage.
This was not a stake that interested me, because I only ever buy action in people I know, plus a few other reasons not specific to you.
I was pleased to see you sell at spot, though, which for some reason pleased me.
Good luck, & I hope you & your stakers get the lot, as they say.
Thanks for those kind words Tony. Nothing would please me more than to make a few quid for my stakers, and myself, whilst playing the wonderful game at the best poker venue in the country.

This staking is now SOLD OUT. Craig and George let me know if bank details are required but Stars or BBP will be fine. Should any more percentages become available, for any reason, i will give Craig first option. Many thanks to everyone that has shown an interest in this, my first, staking thread.

Have you offered this proposal on BBP's community then?
Link to that please.
I originally posted on Blackbelt, as i felt that as the main purpose of the stake was to fund the Blackbelt game, it was only right that i gave my friends on there the option if they wished to have a go. Unfortunatelt, due to the forum rules, which i had overlooked, i am not permitted to run a staking thread on there. (hope that helps). I did intend to post it on here as well anyway, but felt it right that i gave the Blackbelters a chance first.

Staking proposal for two poker tournaments. The first one is the Dusk Till Dawn £200+25 deepstack tournament taking place at DTD on 3-5 August . The second one is the Blackbelt $220 Blackbelt Live tournament taking place at DTD on 10-12 August. I would like to sell up to 60% maximum in both tournaments. Reason for wanting stakings: I have recently become unemployed and so i need to cut back on my spending. I have already qualified, via satellite for the DTD £200 deepstack, so i would like to sell some of this, and the Blackbelt tournament in order to cover the expenses of the Blackbelt tournament. Why it might be worth a punt: I have been working hard to improve my tournament game and have had about four reasonable cashes at DTD (for about £4k total), and some reasonable cashes in local tournaments which i play occasionally. None of these are shown on my Hendon Mob status, which includes a cash in one of the Blackbelt tournaments where i managed to finish 14th. I have had small stakes on other people in the past and hopefully, they, and anyone who knows me will vouch for my honesty. My first attempt at staking was a few years ago in a £100 freeze-out at my local casino (Grovesnor Stoke). This was my first £100 comp. I managed to finish second, for a nice profit for myself and the people who had shown faith in me. I can assure any potential backers that i will be making every effort to go one better. I will be covering the reg fees and am selling at 1.0. Selling in blocks of 5/10 percent. The costs are as follows:- DTD £200 Deepstack 5%=£10 10%=£20 Blackbelt Live 5%=£6.50 10%=£13 5% of both=£16.50 10% of both =£33 My prefferred methods of payment are, in order of preference, as follows: 1. Via Blackbelt poker player transfer. 2. Via Bank transfer. 3. Via PokerStars player transfer. All stakes must be paid in full 48 hours before the start of play in each tournament. Any bonus payments, such as Blackbelt bonuses, or DTD Golden Chip bonuses will NOT be included in the stake. In the event of any success, all payments will be made as soon as possible after completion of the competitions, either in the same method as the staking payment was made, or, by a mutually agreed method. If you are genuinely interested, please feel free to ask any questions. I will try to answer them honestly.
Sold aready-Jamie (Stilletomafiosa BBP) 10% of DTD £200 Deepstack 10% of Blackbelt Live Nottingham PAID Andy (Redkiteblackbelt BBP) 5% of DTD £200 Deepstack 5% of Blackbelt Live Nottingham PAID Dawn (Bagpussrocks BBP) 5% of DTD £200 Deepstack 5% of Blackbelt Live Nottingham PAID Simon (Ourkidsid BBP) 10% of Blackbelt Live Nottingham PAID George (George2loose) 10% of DTD £200 Deepstack 10% of Blackbelt Live Nottingham PAID Lewis (C4ught) 5% of DTD £200 Deepstack 5% of Blackbelt Live Nottingham PAID Tristan (Tristiano BBP) 5% of DTD £200 Deepstack 5% of Blackbelt Live Nottingham PAID Tony (Tonytats) 10% of DTD £200 Deepstack 10% of Blackbelt Live Nottingham PAID Craig (Craigbetts) 10% of DTD £200 Deepstack PAID
So, that means that 60% of both Tournaments are now sold. SOLD OUT
