Started to feel sorry for him reading those stories, but then remembered he's just won his weight in gold.

Alternatively you can get a Wii U premium with NSMBU and NSLBU for £200.
I've never understood buying a new console at release time. Wait at least a year.
Agreed. I just bought a Super Nintendo for virtually nothing.

Have a super annoying drip in the boiler that keeps me up at night. Can't see any obvious pipe leaks or wet patches, so must be coming from inside. Is that just a like-it-or-lump-it jobby or worth calling the landlord? It drives me round the bend.

I rang up Oyster about the card and they kindly transferred my £10 over to another card I have. They were also very surprised that I'd been charged the £40 and weren't aware people received the grilling that I'd been subjected to. The inspector pretty much called me a liar regarding my address and said that if I didn't give my correct details, she'd call the police. Wasn't sure how to respond to that one.

Just paid an on-the-spot £40 fine after depositing £10 on my card but forgetting to tap in. They didn't return my Oyster either, so it cost me £50. Woman was very austere, impatient and intimidating. Made me feel like I'd committed a murder! She threatened me with the police, large fines, court, etc when I gave her my details (name, address, date of birth). Must have thought I was bluffing. Anyone have any experience with train fines. It was a clear accident, but is it worth appealing or would I be wasting my time?

Joshua has now issued a reply stating his innocence for those not following the thread What a reply it is too. I can see his point though. Anyone with a brain would not be calling bluffs with jack high if they could see hole cards. Whole thing is uber dumb. UB superuser was calling with seven high.
