I agree with your debating partner. Yes, those two women are great singers, but without blinking, I can think of a dozen excellent Black female singers.
I would like to test this. You were right to question it. My brain froze for a blink or five at 11... Aretha Franklin Witney Houston Billie Holiday Ella Fitzgerald Dionne Warwick Donna Summer Diana Ross Anita Baker Janet Jackson Tracy Chapman Mary J Blige Toni Braxton These were not scientific conditions.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22212131The internet has sadly been rife with this news since the interview under caution in November and there were reports he had been taken ill as a result. It has finally been officially reported. Whatever comes of Operation Yewtree, and at whatever cost, no one will accuse those in charge of not being thorough. Strange how the mind works. I hope in his case more than any other that this isn't true. It seems completely irrational, but there we go. Noooo!
Not Rolf. Say it isn't so.
Is nothing sacred? This Its going to get to the point where innocent people will not want to work with kids because of false accusations Pretty sad state of affairs to be honest considering all the good Rolf has done for societyPretty much the same Modus Operandi that 'Sir' Jimmy Savile used sadly enough. Not too much of a difference to the MO used by priests and other esteemed members of society in positions of trust that abuse children. Also that Gus dude out of Breaking Bad. Without the children, obviously.

I'm not that knowledge on the subject so am open to my comments being very wrong, but my initial thought is that she didn't just give people drive, and teach them to "crack on", but to do so in a way that encourages greed, selfishness and a disregard for those less fortunate - aspects that can ultimately divide a society over the long term. While she did indeed make us a stronger nation financially, I think this is a somewhat misleading claim as she deregulated the financial industry and increased the gap between the rich and the poor, which could be argued is the very reason that we're currently suffering from a recession and having to rebuild the economy.

I don't think this should be discussed in financial terms; it's a moral issue. Personally, I don't feel it's right to make a calculated decision to end someone's life if the threat to society can be removed. Too many advocates of Capital Punishment use the term 'imagine if it were your kid, etc, etc'. Think this topic requires a rational approach, not one fuelled by emotion.

Congrats Dr Rutter.
Few nicer guys around, Stu really deserves all his success. The one word that stuck out from that article for me was 'ambassador' - Stu is, and will continue to be a great one for the game and his sponsors.
Literally the polar opposite of his brother Tom, who, is not only crap, but also a horrible person too.
die papertits Wiii, x Has Tom turned over a new leaf in the three years gone by?
