I normally have images turned off however  turned them on last night on party poker some are a bit odd

from the default images frogs in sun glasses seem popular as well as over sized fish in a bowl

whilst playing i had an irrational desire to kill all tabby cats no idea why

Mrs mustard either is ready for Xmas already or not changed from last year

of the non default images seen lots of pics of players at live events but also UKIP why have that ?

as to poker names lots of the sky players seem to have created same or similar names  in readiness for Team challenge
Cannot expect average sky player to take on board  a new name  ;)so understand that
One individual decided it was a good idea to name him or her self fucrightoff
i just don't under why some one would do that

So what are you all a frog or a tabby cat ?

i'm happy to be part of a 'blonde cheapskates' team

Due to the finishing times of the majors (early morning work) and the fact i am a cheapskate I can only see myself playing the micro and the odd mini on Fridays so if there are any other players who want to join me in a team,  happy in the knowledge we would all aim to play at least 5 micros a week then lets shuffle up and deal - it's a 2 month promotion so getting to the live final should be easily achievable but obviously 'blonde cheapskates' wouldn't be going with a gazillion chips...but it would still be great fun.  thumbs up

Do not think your only one who will not be playing major
its too late a potential finish time during week for me too

From Tonight, Daily DTD Majors are 7pm start. Late Reg is now 9.38pm and they will finish earlier. Bounty = Rob_Yong

This is good news the late finish times were putting me off  cant have been only one

From a safety point of view I wouldn't be any more bothered now than I was when I first booked it.

From an enjoyment point of view I can't help but think that the whole place is going to be in a bit of a sombre state for the next few weeks and it's going to be difficult getting in to 'holiday mode' knowing what happened just a few weeks earlier.

That being said if your kids still want to go and it isn't affecting them in any way then you're likely to have a great holiday. The locals will be really pleased to see any tourists in the next few weeks and I would think you'll have no problems getting a sunbed.

PS: Before any sensitive soul leaps on my back I don't mean this as some kind of sick joke. It really is going to be quiet there.

This is a really good point.

I was in Vegas in the days after 9/11, and it was like a ghost town.

And the few people who were there seemed to be embarrassed about having a good time.

went to Egypt Xmas 1997 i think it was might have 98
50+ tourists were killed in November when buses attacked
plane out and back and hotel where  less than half full
went  to Casino one night but we where only customers
Ending up spending night drinking with and chatting to staff at bar as could be bothered to punt when we only two  in the place

I would go unless FCO advice changes

however would be less likely to get out and about from Hotel

Oh come on, no they won't turn up!

If they can use the tickets to play normal tourneys then that sux IMO.

May as well just call them ticket tourneys, rather than DTD tourneys.

I was hoping for DTD ticket tourneys to mean just that.....a way to get to play live at the club for very little, and to get more of us going more regular (like me who struggles to make it a lot of times)

The club likes to promote new/non regular people to turn up to the club etc, but it seems you get these foreign based players winning tickets yet doing nothing with regards to being at the club/taking the opportunities away from new/local players.

sorry was not suggesting tickets could be used to play normal tournaments
but the dtd micro and  mini dailys do have a part ticket part cash payout
55  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Official partypoker UK Constructive Player Feedback (to Rob) on: June 27, 2015, 03:10:41 PM
Thought I'd give the 10 cent ticket tourneys a go seeing as I've had quite a break from poker, only to find Russians, Romanians et al playing these tourneys.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong but what is the purpose of these guys playing in "our" tournaments?

I had hoped to be playing against club regulars who want to play live and all that, only to find the games being spoilt by idiots.

Not being funny, but if these tourneys are for the club, then make them UK only.

Or am I missing something?

These guys have no intention of going to the club, so why do they bother?

Fed up of it to be honest.

I do not understand why you think this a problem the more the merrier surely
In what way are these games spoilt by idiots ?

Do not think you can assume these players will never go to club either although i guess most will not
you see quite a few Canadians playing too  now that is a long way to travel
These idiots  can use tokens won to play  and cash out in the daily majors or run them up to $550 tickets
In chat box  of $120 seen one  German player and one Polish player discussing  best use of saved up $550 tickets
So am sure some will come for the bigger festivals when  / if the idiots have enough $550 tickets

58  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: The partypoker Grand Prix Million @ DTD $1m GTD on: May 06, 2015, 01:23:13 PM
So if u get to day 2 u get the min cash then

from DTD

"yes you make the money on day 2 (Simon will announce the payout details before each day 2 based on the number he predicts for the second day 2 (the last day 1's are capped so we know the max we can get)"
.              if you. Make both day 2 can you therefore cash twice ?
