I'm 10 years behind you but a similar dilemma.

Having been self employed for 40 years I can now afford to retire (although not as many bank vaults as full as you  ), but it's hard to give up all together. I went semi retired 2 years ago as a compromise but I'll have to bite the bullet soon so I have time for even more travelling than I already do. So hard when you've enjoyed doing what you do.

Lucy not played for years. Retired and lives off High Lane in Stoke. Her better half Tom still played a bit of cash at Stoke Genting before covid ruined everything.

A little envious of your trip to the Spanish riding school Kev, the Lipizzaner horses are a fabulous breed.

As a youngster I used to love The White Horses on tv. Apparently it was a cult series and the theme tune was voted the greatest in television history in 2003.
