What buyin level?

Any more info on Villain?

From what little you have said though I would be inclined to check back to induce pressure on the turn and possibly river...

Raising pre is fine as well...

As regards the rest of the hand... Stato coulda used a larger font and maybe colour it red for extra effect Smiley

Am usually pretty good with these but this one had me a little stumped...

Have had several people I respect come up with different answers so figured I would see what you guys think...

No real background on this one... I lost a 1.5m chip flip at 12500/25000 to leave me with 10BB but have played solidly since with none of my open shoves being called.

If your scared of getting it in under these circumstances, folding pre is the next nest option...
100  Poker Forums / Poker Hand Analysis / Re: CAN I CONSIDER FOLDING? on: July 14, 2012, 06:20:31 AM
Not gonna consider folding for longer than half a second before shovelling the chips in and being reasonably happy about it...

If one of them somehow has flopped a straight, we can make a boat and if someone has 77 we can consider it an unlikely cooler...
101  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Marc Wright aka dean23price/railtard1 still scamming July 2012 on: July 14, 2012, 04:01:55 AM
The feelings that there is a clique/s here certainly do not surprise me as its something that I felt as well when I first started lurking in these parts...

With so many of the active posters knowing eachother in a real life sense vs just on the forum, there is a sense of familiarity between them which can easily be misconstrued to be more than it is. The fact that some of the people play in the same games on at least a semi regular basis and can often be found travelling together to different events only adds to that.

Most newer members/poster actually expect there to be cliques because of the reputation of the forum as being a force in English poker. This being the case, the close knit family feel that most of the active posters enjoy can easily be misconstrued as cliques because that is what the newer member/poster expects to see.

Also, the fact that compared to alot/most forums there is an above average distribution of winning players also adds to the feel of cliques because this alone can give a very different feeling to the new/er member who doesn't want to look stupid (yeah I fail obv) to the more well known players who post here.

To me, joining and starting to feel my way around this forum is a bit like moving from a secondary school to a upmarket private school as a kid (no I didnt do that)... Firstly your a bit unsure of yourself and everyone there knows eathother and go back many years, then you start making a few conversations here and there and while your still not sure of the lay of the land you start realising that you may be able to find your own little niche and then finally you join the rugby team, get stuck into the scrum and realise that thats been your place the entire time...

Maybe a little rambly etc but just my Two Clubs...

Whilst I instantly cringe when I see backers do the wrong thing, it is reassuring to see how bad some of the competition is Cheesy

Lol, you don't know the half of it. Have 3 other horse all saying they've been left waiting for reloads, then kinda forced in to paying the MU back, seems this backer does not want to take any responsibility. Or have I got this all wrong, I'm a winning player, want to continue the stake, is there any reason he can force me to quit and force me to pay the MU?

Such a weird way for him to conduct business, unless the above is true and this is his method to ensure he never has to cover the MU, i'm confused by this and spent too much time with him, it's like he's done this many times.

If you are ready and willing to play for him but he does not provide the funds then you are under no obligation to buy back makeup or pay any money to quit the stake.

Gtfo! Accidentally my arse.

I get email updates on this thread and any thread in the staking board.

Why on EARTH would you turn them off? I thought this was your favourite thread adam?

Obviously huge fan boi and will continue to check the thread approximately every 3 minutes, but i already have 4k emails and getting spam from blonde doesn't help, i miss x% of semi important emails as it is, so this doesn't help!!!!

Not sure what's worse, the fact i had to post about it, or the fact the third time i look it appears to be the simplest thing in the whole world.

Noob...
