Seems EU are now working on the basis that the deal wont pass next week...........so they are looking at a short extension that isnt conditional.

Maybe this gives time for indicative votes?.....and something like a soft brexit/Norway deal will win through.

Taken the 8/1 May is replaced in May  Cheesy

Betfair are odds on May leaves before we leave the EU.  Remarkable.

You can still get 1.02 on "will article 50 be extended" which I don't understand

I know I have banged on about the second vote, but it's the only way to get it across the line. Take it out of MP's hands and make sure it doesn't have to be confirmed by the 650 MP's. That vote should either be Deal v Remain or No Deal v Remain.

should be two parts

Part A:

LEAVE vs REMAIN

Part B:

If number of leave votes are greater than remain;

DEAL vs NO DEAL

I get disappointed when accusations of xenophobia start flying around because it's really a logistical issue which deserves serious attention. This week we saw on the telly news how many folk simply cannot get a doctor's appointment and I must say that I've been trying to access a GP for 2 weeks myself only to be told there aren't any appointments. We know there's an aging population issue, we know there aren't enough hospital beds, there's a very real housing crisis, lots of my friends can't get preferred school places. On top of that I find driving anywhere ridiculous, always total gridlock on the M25 & M6. The list is endless and it's a problem we need to deal with or quality of life will diminish rapidly.

So under this freedom of movement system how many new schools and hospitals have been built? How many new roads and railway lines? How many more GP's have been recruited? I'm well aware that migration is a positive for our country's GP...so how much has been spent on social infrastructure? What's more let's say we stay in the EU and the organisation allow Turkey to join or another country. Let's say a million more economic migrants arrive in the space of a year. Are we able to cope? What are the plans to accommodate? It's all very well just bleating xenophobia. But what is the concrete plan that mitigates the risk of such freedom? Sure thing exiting the EU will dink our economy by a few % but what's the wider picture in terms of quality of life when control is within our own hands? Why is having control of our own borders such a bad idea? I'm sure it's a genuine and valid concern for a lot of ordinary folk who still enjoy our multicultural society.

Migrants have been net contributors to the public purse.

Blame the government for not investing enough into public services and infrastructure.

Either he gave you a slip for the 2nd losing bet or he didn't.

If he didn't then he needs to pay the £380 simples.

Not taxable but you should choose to pay national insurance contributions. It's very little, a few pounds a week.

Due to some weird security checks on coinbase they wouldn't let me transfer all of what I wanted out of the site for 72 hours.

I don't suppose anyone can sell me about 20£ worth of BTC within the next few hours please? Thanks! I'll send bank xfer first ldo lolol

Endless anti-Trump smuggery is feeling boring to me now. On the telly box I saw Trump and Kim shaking hands, walking in the gardens, slapping each other on the back. Not seen any other western leader doing that in recent times. Could be something interesting happening here.

He's a bigger buffoon than Boris
41  Poker Forums / The Rail / OK I'll try again. Have party want stars or bank on: May 12, 2018, 03:37:47 PM
Hello, I have up to approx 2k usd on party I would like to swap for stars or bank if its any use to anyone.

If it's not helpful then I can pay some vig but as I have already been ripped off 5% then I would prefer it be mutually beneficial!

Thanks Smiley

Cheers!
42  Poker Forums / The Rail / Neteller $ for bank or stars on: May 11, 2018, 03:40:28 PM
Hi all.
Long story short I have around 5.3k USD in my neteller account and I would like to get this to GBP without paying their ripoff fx fees. This is not "thin" in anyway

Does anyone have any use for it? I appreciate that most people use skrill but neteller is just as commonly accepted.

I could pay a small vig if it is not beneficial for you in any way but I would prefer not to. I am also waiting to hear back from neteller if they can reverse the last  deposit (from Ladbrokes who sent it there even though u requested to visa) so at least some of it is back in GBP (£1500)

 Cheers

Just reread this and am confused on why you say your parents have no money but the house - why have they given away so much cash which will if they passed away tomorrow be liable for tax from you and your siblings.

Also giving away all your cash and just leaving yourself with a house can have serious ramifications to your potential care in the future'

Trouble is you dont say how old your parents are,

76 and 70. They do have money maybe a couple hundred K and my mum still works. I was just trying to make the ex pls making simple.

My dad has a MUCH smaller pension than  he should  do. He got screwed by th e equitable life collapse/scandal

I mean I should point out that I was exaggerating of course. I CANNOT BEAR THE THOUGHT OF them dying. It is my only fear in life. They are 70 and 76.

What about interest on the loan? Are you paying that or your parents? If it's them, it'll add up to quite a bit over the years. Of course, they wouldn't have had to get it if they hadn't given some to the others, so the cause is shared, but it's mainly incurred by you, if we're getting down to the nitty-gritty.

I'm paying the interest on the loan. Ie. I'm paying the interest instead of paying rent to a private landlord
