isn't it 2 miles per £ on black Amex spend?

and as above there is nor problem getting the white and black cards

using various methods I have managed about 270k miles in 18 months

Probably is either way it's a good deal I think ,instead of just paying from my bank to hmrc I pay via these cards n get cheaper flights ,we like it Smiley

yep, doesn't take much work for what you can get from it

don't forget too the amex gold card has 20,000 miles and no charge for 1st year ( and 2 free airport lounge passes)

its 22,000 if you get referred (I would get 9k too) so if anyone wants referring drop me a message

you can hold this and the black card at same time and other halves can get one in their own name too even if not working as it based on household income (min 20k)

Yes the reward sales make the PE vouchers very good

Myself and my brother are off to Atlantic City in July (NY flight) bought in reward sale, 28k miles each and PE voucher

The real value was in using the miles to upgrade to UC but they have just put the amount of miles needed up

through card sign ups/ £20kpa credit card spend, ISA sign ups, clubcard, shops away and a couple of referrals etc I have managed to get over 200k miles in a year with a total cost of about 200 quid

Just used 120k to upgrade 2 returns UK to Hong Kong return flight from Econ to Upper

Later I will use 80-90k for 2 return econ reward flights to Vegas and use the free PE upgrade vouchers that come with the VA black card

40  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: New York> Vegas cheapest flights on: January 03, 2016, 09:35:43 PM
If you want the cheapest flights possible, start in Dublin.

7th April - Dublin to NY direct
13th April Las Vegas to Dublin via London....£333. (3 nights in each or 2/4 split)

Factor in around £100 for your domestic one way, and your flight to Dublin start at £9.99 on Ryanair. Take hand luggage if possible, and then hop off in London on your return and don't bother taking the final leg back to Dublin.

Leaves more money to gamble with Smiley

you can also have your London "connection" using I flight LHR and one LGW then you will be able to retrieve hold bags and dodge the Dublin flight
